The hotel's location is perfect, right next to West Lake, just a few minutes' walk away. There's also a lively night market with plenty of food options not far from the hotel. They upgraded my room to one facing West Lake, and the view was absolutely stunning. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices. My only minor gripes are that the hotel could use some smart upgrades – the toilet needed manual flushing, the curtains had to be pulled by hand, and there were no USB charging ports by the bed (I had to borrow a charger from the front desk). Overall, I was very satisfied and would likely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

I stayed at Huajiashanzhuang and then at Yaguquan the next day. Both have different styles, and both are good. Yaguquan leans towards a more high-end, grand, Chinese style, while Huajiashanzhuang is more vintage and elegant, with a Republican-era feel.

In terms of dining, Yaguquan's Chinese restaurant is more affordable and quite delicious. For breakfast, I prefer Huajiashanzhuang.

Yaguquan's garden design, including the guest rooms, is integrated and consistent, whereas Huajiashanzhuang's design is a mix of old and new, not unified. Wandering through them, I feel like Yaguquan is a place for a vacation, while Huajiashanzhuang is more for hosting foreign guests – both are good in their own way.

Additionally, Huajiashanzhuang's natural spring is a bonus, while Yaguquan is more modern with a spa and swimming pool (though I wouldn't highly recommend the spa). Yaguquan also has more animals.

The Zhejiang Hotel is really keeping up with the times! This visit, I noticed about a dozen small electric scooters parked right outside the side entrance of the main building. I'm guessing they're available for rent, though I didn't ask for details.

Our suite was conveniently located on the upper floors, right above the main lobby, accessible via elevators 1, 2, and 3. Just as a restaurant staff member mentioned earlier, rooms starting with '8' are supposedly the best, and ours certainly was – it was impeccably maintained, and the housekeeping service was incredibly attentive and detailed. Plus, there are public balconies on the fourth and fifth floors offering lovely views of West Lake and Leifeng Pagoda.

My stay at the Qiandao Lake Warm Island Butterfly Hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. A highlight was the hotel's shuttle service, which provided convenient and fun transfers to and from the island, really adding to the vacation vibe. The hotel is uniquely situated on its own island, offering breathtaking 360-degree lake views. The air is fresh and the environment is peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Great value for money, definitely worth a second visit!

We chose this hotel when we drove with our kids to see Shuanglong Cave. It's a well-established hotel, and the food sold outside in the evening was good value for money and tasted pretty good. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the kids ate their fill and were very happy.

The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Wuyi North Station. Overall, the experience at this private hot spring hotel was very good.

[Strong] Facilities/Rooms/Private Hot Spring: The facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious and new, and fruit platters and drinks (free of charge) are prepared in advance. The private hot spring is open for 12 hours daily from 12 noon, and soaking in it is very comfortable. A suggestion: placing a wooden ladle next to the hot spring would be even better.

[Strong] Service: The staff are very friendly. A car will proactively pick you up from the entrance and take you to the lobby for check-in. You can also book a free singing bowl experience class. The hotel breakfast is also plentiful and of better quality than most hotels, and there are snacks available.

However, there are quite a few mosquitoes (there were mosquitoes even in 0℃ weather on New Year's Day [laughing emoji]). The location is a bit far from the city center, so food delivery is inconvenient and there are no convenience stores.

Overall, it's a good hotel and worth recommending.
