Extremely satisfied! It truly lives up to its 4-star rating and is conveniently located right at T2. Last year, I stayed at a hotel at T3, and the room was quite small. This time, I took the free airport shuttle from T3 to T2 for an overnight stay. Although it was a bit of a hassle with luggage, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. There's even a walk-in closet for luggage. The front desk also had staff who spoke Chinese. For a transit night at the airport, food, drinks, and transportation are all very convenient.

Had a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from OIOI, Don Quijote, Parco, and the JR station. Getting there from the airport by bus is also very convenient. Kichijoji is such a livable area, full of happiness – absolutely wonderful!

If location and iconic city views are your top priorities, Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu is hard to beat. Perched directly above Shibuya Station inside the Mark City complex, you can step off the train and head straight up to the lobby without ever touching the street. While the interior decor leans a bit classic and shows some age compared to ultra-modern builds, the rooms are comfortable and impeccably maintained. Booking a scramble-view room is worth it for the ultimate front-row seat to the famous intersection below, and the seamless access to the Yamanote and subway lines makes navigating Tokyo effortless. It’s ultra-convenient, highly reliable, and booking through Trip.com ensures a smooth stay from start to finish.

Cons:
Not soundproof at all. There's an elevated highway right downstairs, and cars, including what sounded like race cars, were zooming by even at 2 AM. Police sirens were blaring too. Basically, despite the otherwise great environment, I couldn't get any sleep. I specifically requested a quiet room, and this is what I got.

Pros:
1. Conveniently located near shopping areas. The JR line is right on the 3rd floor downstairs, and the subway station is just across the street. Plenty of vintage shops nearby.
2. A mall is directly opposite, and a bustling area for dinner is only a 6-minute walk away.
3. Excellent facilities, well-suited for Chinese preferences. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the toilet and shower are also separate, which is very convenient.
4. The hotel provides a generous selection of complimentary items like facial masks, hair essential oils, and soothing patches for fatigue. The tea was also delicious. Plus, there were a total of four bottles of sparkling water and regular water in the room – fantastic!

This Tokyu REI hotel is great! It's right by Shibuya's B2 exit. The hotel breakfast was decent, and there was a front desk staff member who could speak Chinese. The room wasn't small; you could comfortably walk between the two single beds, and there was also good space between the single bed and the sofa. It's only about a five or six-minute walk to the airport bus stop if you know your way around, just past Shibuya Station. I stayed for three nights, and it seemed like there were a lot of Western tourists.

This hotel is excellent! The location is superb, the rooms are spotless, and the surrounding area has a fantastic vibe with plenty of shopping and attractions. Although they initially gave me a small room when I booked a medium one, they apologized and switched my room the next morning, even compensating me with a meal. While the hotel itself is small, there are tons of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of cuisines. I'd definitely want to stay here again!

Such an amazing stay for 8 nights here with my family . Completely felt at home with the plentiful amenities which included daily hand wipes for using while out. Room was impeccably clean, superior customer service, beds were incredibly comfortable with high quality bedding, and the list goes on. Also a great location, in Shibuya, but not directly in the busy section. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family or stay here again. Honestly the BEST hotel I've stayed in Japan!!!

I personally feel that the Capitol Hotel Tokyu offers the best value for money among Tokyo's luxury hotels. Safety is, of course, a given, located in the very heart of the government district. Getting around is incredibly convenient, with direct access to Tameike-sanno Station. This station is rarely crowded, making commuting easy and stress-free. For shopping, you can take the Ginza Line directly to Mitsukoshimae Station, home to the Mitsukoshi Nihombashi main store, where tax refunds are quick due to fewer crowds. A taxi to Shinjuku Isetan costs around 2500 JPY. There's also a convenience store in the underground passage directly connected to the subway, though please note it's not open 24 hours.

I highly recommend the Japanese breakfast, which is served by the Japanese restaurant Suiren. The quality is exceptional and very satisfying, but you need to order before 10:00 AM.

Overall, whether you're in Japan for business, shopping, or suburban sightseeing, this hotel is extremely convenient, and the dining quality is excellent. You can even book a table directly at the restaurant to entertain clients or friends.

Suitable for Tokyo returnees who is looking to immerse in a truly Japanese day to day experience. It is located right at Futako Tamagawa station so putting most Tokyo suburbs within 30 min train ride. The hotel is very clean with fantastic view. It is right next to the Tamagawa river, perfect for a stroll. On a clear day, Mt Fuji can be visible, albeit small.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the airport bus stop and about 100 meters from Exit 4 of Byeon-dong Subway Station (which has both elevators and escalators). There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. A pleasant surprise was having congee for breakfast. You can also choose one-day tours that meet in the hotel lobby, saving time and effort. Many guests stay here, so the breakfast queue starts forming before 6:30 AM, but the breakfast spread is extensive.

Booked this hotel because of its location. The underground shopping connected to the hotel made shopping an ease. The hotel is stylish w a nice lobby and scene. They offered white wine as welcome drink which was a nice suprise. Staffs spoke good English and helpful. Their recommendation of a nearby izakaya restaurant was excellent. Will definitely come back to stay!

Fantastic hotel! Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, and there was a slight variation in the breakfast options over the two days. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of space to open multiple suitcases. The view was great, you could even see the Ferris wheel. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station.

We chose this hotel for our trip to Universal Studios, and it's conveniently located not far from the park entrance, making coming and going very easy. There are plenty of dining options nearby, as well as Universal Studios merchandise stores. The day we arrived happened to be a Japanese holiday, so it was incredibly crowded. Check-in started at 3 PM, and we had to wait in line for a long time. The hotel is quite large and even has a Family Mart convenience store inside, which was great since we didn't book breakfast. We booked a city view room, but the front desk gave us a room on the 4th floor, so there was basically no view outside the window. For Japan, the room was quite spacious. Overall, it was convenient for accessing Universal Studios.

The hotel is conveniently located near Honmachi Station. If you're taking the Midosuji Line, it's a bit of a walk within the station, but once you cross the road, you're right in a lively area with plenty of restaurants, drugstores, and convenience stores. Our triple room easily accommodated two 28-inch suitcases without feeling cramped. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. The only drawback is that the hotel is very popular, so the laundry machines are always in high demand. Six machines aren't quite enough, so if you plan to use them, remember to keep an eye on them and wait in advance.

Overall: A business hotel in the Umeda area with good value for money.

Location: It's a 3-minute walk from Exit M10 at the end of Whity East Mall. This makes it very convenient for those needing to take the Hankyu, Hanshin, or JR lines to Kyoto and Kobe during their stay in Osaka, potentially saving on subway fares.

Surrounding Environment: Located in Doyama-cho, and near the Hankyu Higashidori Shopping Street, the overall atmosphere is lively and bustling, but there are no safety concerns.

Hotel Facilities: A bit dated, but housekeeping is fine. Since it's a building from '78, it doesn't have vending machines on every floor.

Regarding the Room: The bathtub is small. My requests for a high floor and a south-facing room when booking were not met. Even though I checked in at 4 PM, when there should have been plenty of rooms available, I ended up on the 6th floor in a courtyard-facing room. It had poor lighting, and drawing the curtains immediately exposed privacy. The only upside was that it was very quiet at night for sleeping.
