Located on the hilltop next to the windmill restaurant, dining is super convenient. Down the hill, there's the popular Fairy Tale Town for some great photo ops. The butler created a group chat in advance and even reported the 'Blue Tears' (bioluminescent plankton) locations daily; their service was incredibly enthusiastic. We also received complimentary drinks and desserts in the afternoon. It would be even better if the breakfast selection had more variety. The large pool is fantastic for photos! When the hot water stopped working on the first day, it was promptly fixed. Overall, the service is very detailed and thoughtful, and the room cleanliness is up to par. There are quite a few rooms, and the design is very creative. Highly recommended!

XiaoIOTAI checked into Bernar today. The room rates looked really appealing right after the May Day holiday, so I decided to give it a try!
However, promotion is one thing, and the actual experience is another. Let me share the pros and cons.
Pros:
1. The front desk service was quite proactive. Before I even arrived, they called to ask for my estimated arrival time. During check-in, they informed me of all the important details and even offered a free room upgrade. While it was an upgrade, I didn't notice anything particularly special about the room size or decor.
2. Parking was convenient. There were plenty of public parking spots right outside, probably because it's the off-season, so it wasn't crowded at all.
Cons:
1. The room felt a bit compact. There was no dedicated wardrobe, and the hot water from the sink faucet was incredibly slow, taking about 20 seconds to come out – quite amusing, actually!
2. Breakfast was rather simple. They offered 3-5 hot dishes, fresh noodles, juice, peanut soup, some slightly stale bread and cakes, and mostly egg-based items like braised eggs, boiled eggs, and fried eggs. Honestly, nothing else was particularly noteworthy. Overall, breakfast was pretty average.
3. Soundproofing wasn't great. I could easily hear what the couple next door was up to – a bit awkward, to say the least!

YeziweilangmujiuI like winter for no reason.
I like watching the sunrise and sunset in a house by the water in winter🌅
I like to enjoy the journey aimlessly in the sunny winter without making any plans.
I prefer to take a warm bath in the winter and listen to my favorite playlists

Afternoon tea is also provided for guests who check in in the afternoon
It's so comfortable to lie in the room, eat fruit and watch the sea
The room we stayed in, Room 8, has a small terrace with a view.

The service was excellent and very responsive to all our requests. We booked two different room types, and both rooms matched the pictures perfectly, exactly to my taste. The hotel's location is close to the beach, and there are many restaurants downstairs, which was perfect for our family trip. It's great value for money and received unanimous praise from my family members. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Pingtan.

Guest UserThe room was absolutely stunning! The moment I opened the door, I knew the ocean view was worth every penny. You can definitely get some amazing photos right from your room. It's clear the owner has a great eye for design. The amenities in the room were also very comprehensive – even a Dyson hairdryer and facial tissues in the bathroom, which shows real attention to detail. We drove here, and parking was super convenient and free. The butler's service attitude was excellent too. And breakfast was quite tasty. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Pingtan!

Guest UserIt was difficult because of the language barrier, but thank you for helping me in real time through WeChat. The accommodation with a view of the windmill was really nice, and it was spacious and comfortable, so I had a comfortable stay. The only regret was that the towels were disposable, which was a little inconvenient.
It was a Chinese holiday, so there were a lot of people, and the traffic control was severe, so it was difficult, but if you avoid the national holiday, it seems like it will be a very leisurely trip. I regret not seeing Blue Tears this time. I will visit again next time I have the chance. Thank you.

Anonymous UserAfter staying in a guesthouse on our first night, we decisively switched to a hotel for the second – and the difference was incredible! The room was spotless, and the hotel's central location in the county town was incredibly convenient, especially since we were traveling with kids. Eating out was a nightmare when we were at the guesthouse. Parking here was also a breeze, and they even had charging stations.

Guest UserAn excellent stay, especially suitable for families with children. The hotel is conveniently located right behind the beach, making it super easy to take kids for some fun in the sand. They also offer fast-charging stations and complimentary parking for guests, which is great for those driving. Dining at the hotel is convenient too, with delicious Fuzhou local specialties that are both good quality and affordable. The service was fantastic; they even upgraded us to a family room for free. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The off-season in Pingtan was fantastic! The owner was very helpful, contacting us in advance and keeping track of our arrival. Located in a secluded spot in the county town, they promptly greeted and guided us to our accommodation. The service was excellent. The inn was artistic and quiet, with very comfortable rooms, separate wet and dry areas, and good soundproofing. There were drinks at the reception on the first floor, and a terrace on the second floor where you could dry clothes and enjoy tea – so pleasant! My room near the stairs had poor WiFi, but they promptly offered to change rooms. The efficiency and service were excellent. Highly recommended!

It was a very satisfying experience. Although there was nothing to do as a result of Typhoon Shantol, the only activity was to climb to the top of the mountain observation deck with my parents, but we were almost blown away by the typhoon. But the B&B is really impeccable, the food is delicious, the rooms are great, and the service is beyond praise. If I have the chance to come to Pingtan again, I will undoubtedly choose his place first.
