Welcoming staff and great room. Perfect for the overnight stay on a long journey. Reception were very helpful and friendly. WiFi was poor but not the staffs fault and they did all they could. The pub next door was enjoyable, fast service and kind staff.

Travelled down over Easter weekend and a lovely warm welcome from staff. They had a colouring activity which kept the kids entertained over dinner and a chocolate after. Took part in the Tombola they had there which was a nice touch. Room was just what we needed and perfect for the 3 of us. All I can say that could improve would be the restaurant next door. It wasn’t terrible but the staff talked to each other a lot more than needed and were racing around making us feel unimportant. It doesn’t take much to say hello. Overall though would stay again.

noticed thatthe heating is not working only too late during the night so it was not worth changing clothes goinfg down and make a complaint . The staff are very non- technical anyway and the most they would do is offer another room - too late in the night to change rooms

Visiting family in the area and was checked in by Charlotte and Megan. They had a laugh with me and made me feel more comfortable being there on my own. Very friendly young women. The room was what you expect in a Premier Inn but may be a bit worn out. The restaurant Breakfast was pleasant enough.

Parking was easy and free. Reception was friendly, checkin quick. Rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. Shower powerful. Bed was very cosy. We ate dinner at the Cookhouse where the service was very good and the food was good value as were the drinks. A great place to stay for a night or two.

Once again the WiFi was not working, this is becoming a general theme and is not something the onsite staff are able to deal with. Do not pay for the WiFi as apparently this is as bad as the free option, non existent most of the time

Seriously in need of a refurb! Rooms are very small especially the family rooms and they are stiflingly hot, there is a fan but it was noisy. The hotel is mainly used by contractors that are working on the near by building site and I think there are people living there and it’s being used as temporary accommodation. There was black mould on the wall and curtains right next to the child’s bed! Just not what you would normally expect from a premier inn, it was more like a travel lodge. The staff were pleasant though.

Friendly welcome and a nice clean room, breakfast was great, overall good value. The building was looking a little run down the main hallway could possibly do with a touch of paint but everything overall was spot on
