Hampton Inn Bordentown

As a frequent traveler north to south and back on I95, it continues to amaze and disappoint how indifferent evening check in staff at Hilton and other chain hotels has and continues to be. Seriously, does Hilton not provide any training at all? A simple Hello and welcome to Hilton would be a significant upgrade. Shocking. The room was clean and fine except for the bathroom. Upgrades were minimal and the shower not inviting at all. The remnants of the old wall paper on the walls was interesting. Hilton couldn't literally remove all of the old wallpaper. The price of the room was higher than any other area hotel and it was not reflective of the quality of the room or the experience. Back to Country Inn and Suites for much less and comparable stay

Decent accommodations. The housekeeping team is really thorough and very polite and helpful. Front desk staff is decent to those who act decent toward them. Lots of upset customers when I’m traveling through so I can see why the staff may be unengaged. Having a Smoking room shouldn’t mean cigarette-burned comforter. Breakfast that’s advertised isn’t true. They only serve 6 oz cups of coffee and that even stops around 9. Steer clear of room 118, long term guests with loads of drama...EVERY EVENING. If you need utensils, don’t bother being polite and asking the restaurant that’s ten steps away from the hotel. You’ll get lectured on how “people” do this often, and how sick they are of it....I just offered to PURCHASE a plastic spoon. I didn’t sign up for a lecture. I had also patronized both parts of the restaurant since being a guest, but the rude manager that came out from the back to ask what I wanted wasn’t aware - nor did I think he cared. Bottom line- there is a Walmart and other restaurants up the road; as well as other hotels. Pick one.
Aloft Mount Laurel

I love the aloft. Have stayed many times. The rooms are great, always clean with a pleasant modern atmosphere. I was a little disappointed about the breakfast situation. The woman who checked me in the night prior made it seem like it was included in my stay. I found out the next morning that was not the case. Regardless, still love it there.

Close to the turnpike and 295. McDonald's and Applebees next door. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. It was perfect for my stay.

Do I have to give it a star??? Booked a 2 bedroom suite to see my daughter thru surgery and had to leave on arrival. DO NOT BOOK HERE. It is the most deplorable, filthy hotel I have ever been to and baby I have been some places! Furniture was worn out, is that period blood on the sofa?? Stove, microwave, fridge, cupboards, sink were disgusting. A whole tray of bacon grease in the oven, trash in the trash can... is that vomit on the floor?? Oh, how nice... a skid mark in the toilet. Windows were unlocked and screens were pulled back so maybe someone was 'staying' there (except the room across the hall had all the same issues). The place looked like a voucher motel if you know what I mean. The only positive about this experience was that I received a full refund. After trying to move to the room across the hall and finding it to be WAY WORSE, I asked the unphased clerk at checkout if this was commonplace and she said they are having staffing issues... ok, but that doesn't make it acceptable to check me into someone's dirty room. JUST DON'T DO IT... YOU WILL REGRET IT! Do not trust the Marriott name on this one!!
