Caernarfon Hostels

I’ve had multiple family and friends suggest this hotel to me for our trip to Wales and I can see why. the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and rooms clean. close to the town as well. we did had a problem when we returned one evening to which one receptionist was very rude hesitant to help us, but Elen managed to sort things straight away and even gave us biscuits as an apology. overall great experience but minor details could make it excellent.

What a lovely hotel. My friend and I booked a weekend break which included breakfast afternoon tea a dinner on one evening We were not disappointed. Sadly we weee unable to use the facilities until check in Ron if 4pm which I found a little odd. However we we went for a walk around Caernarfon. Check in was simple and our room was lovely and warm. I have to say it this is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been in. Yes some of the rooms are a little dated maybe, but the hotel has gone above and beyond to make sure it looked fresh. We used the leisure area. The pool was a little cold I felt but sauna and steam room were perfect. Food was gorgeous. if I was to be a little picky it was that the breakfast buffet was not exactly in the dining room but there may well be a reason for that. I quite like having bread and some cooked meat at breakfast which wasn’t there but the cooked breakfast was fabulous and again there was plenty to choose from anyway. The staff were brilliant one receptionist was not as friendly we didn’t think but the other well they really are a credit to the hotel they were super friendly and could not do enough for you. The two I remember were I think Juliet and possibly Josh on reception I didn’t get the names of the other staff but they were all lovely Thank you to the staff for making our stay great we will definately be back

My wife and I stayed here recently and used it as a base to explore Snowdonia. Our room was stunning! Very clean and a mix of modern decor mixed with the traditional old building. The staff were very friendly and were happy to help if ever needed. Food was beautiful! We had breakfast every morning that had everything from cereal to sausage and bacon etc. The lunch/evening meals were awesome as well. Plenty of choice. Great stay and we will definitely be returning on day.

Stayed here with the other half in December. Had a lovely time with excellent customer service. Housekeeping staff also very welcoming. Very enjoyable experience yet again. Laura, Erin and Caroline were plesent and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely and warm espesially after a cold night out in caernarfon. See you all again soon.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Superior King room on the first floor and had an excellent stay. The room was very well equipped, super comfy bed, large bath room with all the amenities, a well stacked welcome tray and with Jan, the proprietor, a wonderful host. When we arrived by car Jan asked wether we were lucky to find a parking space in Church St. (which we were on both days, right across the B&B) and took her time to give us a tour of the house and garden. Everything was explained to us and we received good recommendations about places to eat (try the Caernarfon Tandoori, which is very good!). In the mornings she was assisted by Michelle, who waited the tables - always with a smile and time for a little chat. Breakfast was very tasty, we could order what ever we liked from the extensive menue - esp. the Welsh Rarebit was delicious. The B&B is situated very close to the castle, marina and many pubs and restaurants. We definitely will stay here again when back in Wales!
