good first (European) line, public beach, umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach for a fee plow towels - with a deposit of 10 Euro The main contingent is German pensioners The main restaurant struggles to cope with the hotel's high occupancy The staff is friendly, polite and courteous. Public street parking - tight, but there's always a spot The room requires renovation, the plumbing is not up to par

It is a very old hotel, rooms smell very bad and when you report this to reception you are told it is normal, we cannot do anything about it, you paid €140 per night and that is a lite room? And I'll spare you the rest, in short, just an old, dirty hotel.

Stayed for 6 days from the 21-27 April rooms were adequate but very small were clean and modern but paper thin walls could here people having a shower and could here people in the corridors all the time might be worth taking e a r plugs if you are a light sleeper rooms were nice and clean mattress is firm not a problem for us but each to there own now my biggest gripe were the shower towels I have given better towels to the local animal shelter they are small thin and rough I would definitely pack my own towel as were the sun bed towels low quality and awful I can only comment on breakfast as we were on a B & B basis so don’t know about the rest of food but breakfast was ok buffet style all the usual stuff eggs continental bacon beans you could always find something the only thing I would say is if you like a proper cup of tea take your own teabags the tea was awful the only other thing which is not a critique just an observation but the hotel is probably 90 per cent German but didn’t bother us would I come again probably not but we booked last minute and it was a cheapie but the resort and beach of peguera was very nice but wouldn’t come back to this hotel

I spent a week at this hotel, leaving yesterday. It's clean, modern and in a brilliant location. The staff are friendly as a whole but no more than Tina on reception who made a real effort from arrival through to me leaving to ensure I was getting the best experience. You can tell the difference between people that do the minimum to meet their job description versus people that are genuinely very helpful people, and she was the latter. Abril on reception was also great and handled a situation really well rather than hiding behind red tape. Although the hotel is great, I think the staff make the real difference in whether you would recommend or visit again and because of the mentioned people, I definitely would. Thanks for looking after me :)

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but we did have a couple of minor annoyances. The first was that the wristbands were put on us with no explanation (we have not stayed anywhere which used wristbands before) and we were not told that they were not removable. This resulted in our child tightening the band to the point of discomfort and we ended up breaking it off. We broke them all off and simply tied them on when needed to show for breakfast ( we were bed and breakfast customers). I understand the need for them if you are an all-inclusive visitor, but felt it was unnecessary for those who weren't. The other thing we were disappointed with was the indoor pool. We were very glad to have it as an option as obviously in April the outside pool was quite cold, but it was such a gloomy and sad area. No natural light and very poor lighting overall, plus no decoration or anything, like some plants, to make it a pleasant place to spend time.

There are some positives to the hotel including the cleanliness, helpful staff and location. Views from my balcony are amazing and I’d come back to the area in a heartbeat but not the hotel. The biggest issue is how thin the walls are, I’ve never been anywhere like it. You can hear EVERYTHING and a mixture of coughing and children’s crying at night meant horrible sleeping. Being able to hear conversations and neighbours bathroom trips also meant I really didn’t enjoy time in my room. The beds are also very uncomfortable. The food is ok, breakfast is much better than dinner. Other travellers have mentioned temperature and variety of the food but I never struggled with that. The pool area is nice but proximity to the beach is great. Such a shame as I don’t think this issue can be fixed but it means I’ll never return.

Just returned from a short break here. The rooms and public areas are very clean and the hotel has an excellent location on the beach with rooms in a perfect spot to watch the sun set. The bars and cafes nearby are lovely and the beach is nice and quiet. There’s another lovely bay further into Paguera and a good bus service running by for easy trips to Palma, Soller, Andratx etc. Good choice of foods for breakfast although some extra fruit options would have been a bonus. The negatives for us were that the rooms were quite a tight squeeze for a family of 3 (we upgraded to a superior sea view) and the shower could get very hot so be careful with younger children. The outdoor pools weren’t heated so no one was using them, which is to be expected at this time of year. However, we booked this hotel on the basis it had an indoor heated pool which our little boy could use if it was too cold for the outside pools. Although it is advertised as heated it wasn’t especially warm and he only lasted 10 mins in it before he got too cold. It was a dark room with a damp foisty smell too. This could have been such a bonus for the hotel so it’s a shame the indoor pool let the place down. There’s also a mini golf course on site which isn’t used and again this could be a great bonus if it was made available. All in all it was a good hotel

I am not sure how anyone could give this hotel a bad review!! The resort is lovely .. not very British if that’s what you are looking for ...we didn’t see one all you can eat British breakfast bar!! Lots of small shops and places to eat... beautiful resort. The hotel has a fabulous location right on the beach .. the views are lovely. The hotel is spotless.. I didn’t see any ares that needed updating!! The all inclusive package is wonderful .. the food is a buffet but high quality and plenty of fresh fish and salad.. if you what chicken nuggets and chips every night you might be disappointed but there is lots of alternatives!! The staff are super friendly.. in the restaurant, bar and reception. They work very hard to keep everything clean and organised!! Sun beds are high quality and plenty .. the pool areas are spotlessly clean and having a cocktail by the pool was very enjoyable!! The bedroom wasn’t massive but was very clean and the shower and bathroom were spacious and modern I would definitely go back !!

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and I have to say the staff were amazing, we had two rooms on the 8th floor which although amazing views we found this too high personally for us. Spoke to reception who moved both rooms when this was available with a no problem attitude and very helpful got moved to 3rd floor which was better for us. We were all inclusive as this only costed alittle more than half board, this was very much worth doing even just for the drinks alone, cocktails, hot drinks ,soft drinks were great! Cups for all inclusive worked by you putting a deposit of 2euros per cup, could have as many cups as you wanted. This worked by you being given a little wooden coin which you needed to swap at the bar for a cup with a choice of drink once the drink was finished you could either take it back to the bar and they swap it for a new cup with fresh drink or given wooden coin back then at the end of the holiday you would take the coin back to reception and they would give your 2euros back, this ment no drinks left around attracting bugs or it looking messy with empty cups it worked really well. Great idea! The food was ok, breakfast had fresh eggs being cooked daily and your usual Spanish choices for breakfast meats/cheeses/fruit/yogurts/cakes/cooked items. Lunch time something fresh was being cooked daily fish or meats. We found the snack bar upstairs was the best for us at lunch times, having two children the burgers/chips/hotdogs/salad/cakes worked best for us this food could be taken to the loungers if wanted. Tea time again had something freshly cooked daily with the usuals. Overall the food was ok but did tend to be the sameish so we ate out a few times. Lovely bars and restaurants around to chose from. All pools were open when we were there however we didn’t get in any we found them abit to cold but a few others did, outside pools arnt heated and being beginning of April they weren’t that hot just yet. People were up getting loungers first thing as the weather was amazing the few days we were there but we always managed to get a lounger after having breakfast. Entertainment was great, the entertainment hall was abit dated but if you can see past the weird smell it had then youl have a great time with the entertainment, they got everyone involved with the games and had all my family smiling and laughing. Hotel is on a lovely sandy beach when we were there the shore was full of sea**** a staff member had said they had bag winds before we arrived which is why it was all on the shore? This didn’t move when we were there but we did walk to another beach which was a ten min walk from the hotel and it had a clear shore we visited this beach lots it was very much the same as the beach next to the hotel - nice sand, clear water, restaurants and bars but with out all the **** on the shore. It was cold but swam in the sea a few times it didn’t get deep quick so perfect for people not a fan of deep waters. Loved seeing little fishes. We visited Palma
