Ocean View Condo

We have stayed at numerous locations in Cancun. The beach at Ocean Dream is absolutely the most beautiful and most swimmable there is. I would like to mention the outstanding service we received from Israel at the Ocean Dream Beach bean bags. We lounged and ate and drank for hours, and Isreal was super attentive and friendly. We look forward to returning next year.

We were in Cancun for two weeks and stayed at four different places. Ocean Dream was the most cost effective, and yet, we loved it the most. The beach, simply amazing. The location afforded us access to A lot of places within an easy walking distance. The icing on the cake was Izzy/Israel who took great care of us at the beach everyday. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks Izzy for making our trip even better!

This experience was overall horrible when it comes to the hotel. We set up transportation from the hotel. They canceled it. We tried to set jt up again they said oh it's less than 72 hours & they don't have anything available. When we arrived our rooms weren't ready & had to wait about 45 minutes. The room I requested was given away so they upgraded my room. Well that was a horrible upgrade. The TV channels were all in Spanish. 3 technicians tried in 2 days to fix but couldn't. Several outlets were not working even after the technician tried to fix them. My friends TV issue was the same plus her tub water pressure was extremely low. We were told the manager would be at the hotel around 12. When we came back to ask for him we were told he was not there. Turned out Diego is the manager & he lied saying there's no manager. He offered a slip of paper with an email address to send the complaint instead of addressing them himself AS THE MANAGER. His demeanor was nonchalant & pardon me hut piss poor. We asked to be compensated with a dinner or partial refund & he immediately dismissed the idea. The hotel can use some upgrades. The beach towel was torn (shredded) The patio doors had no locks The porcelain on the toilet base was peeling My room has a microwave & fridge with dishes but no sponge or dish detergent The list goes on. But I'll never recommend this place to anyone. Don't Jude a book from the outside...looks good til you start to see the fifth upclose from the elevators & staircase etc

It was one of the worst experiences in a Hotel. There was no Hot water, and the room door was not fully closed; it had a gap. A noisy truck was working on the parking lot at 7 AM, right under our balcony. The food was terrible, and they charged me almost $3 for some hot water.

but unfortunately not much else is great about this hotel. The rooms are rundown and the one we stayed it was not clean and the bathroom was filthy. Plus the elevators don't always work and when you can only fit like 3 people in one at a time, that's a problem. Add to that, it seems that the staff take every opportunity to nickel and dime you ($20 to watch your bags!) Also, their beach club, Kane, is hit or miss. The first waiter, Umberto, we had was nice and polite. Since we had a pleasant experience we decided to go back a few days later, but the waiter, Israel, we had tried to rip us off three times. First he got our order wrong, which no big deal, but when we got the check he tried double charging us for things we already paid for and when we corrected him he still tacked on another 100 pesos. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

We had an ocean view room and it was truly a stunning one. The room itself was a bit tired and worn, but ok. Bathroom definitely needs sprucing up but again it was fine and the shower was good. The only complaint about the room is the doors to the balcony. I went out to read and shut them and I could not get back in! This is really dangerous - fortunately my husband was inside so all was good but had I been alone this would have been terrifying. Location is good for bars and restaurants (we loved Wings Army) however we are not loud bar kind of people so thank goodness for the Surfin' Burrito where we could chill and play cards. The beach and pool area are a dream and the drinks prices are good. We did not eat at the hotel so cant comment on that. It was a really pleasant stay with the best views from a hotel I have ever seen.

"My stay at the Ocean Dream Cancun exceeded expectations. The ocean view from my room was stunning with floor-to-ceiling windows letting in plenty of natural light. I could gaze out at the water and beachgoers strolling along the boardwalk. The location also can't be beat - just a minute's walk to the shore and blocks from main street shops and restaurants. Whenever I had a question, the courteous hotel staff warmly assisted, providing recommendations for local attractions that perfectly suited my tastes. I appreciated the sincere customer service and comfortable well-appointed rooms after long days exploring the coastline. Everything was handled smoothly from check-in to check-out. The view and central location paired with thoughtful staff made this a five-star hotel experience I look forward to repeating."

Great beach!!! We didn’t stay in the hotel but came to the beach club and Johan took very good care of us!! The beach is absolutely great, food not fancy but pretty tasty and simple like burgers, salads and such. Music on point and the views are just gorgeous.

This hotel is the worst! AC didn’t work!They didn’t bother to fix or give us another room! Only two small elevators were for the whole hotel which only fit literally two ppl. One stopped working so we had to walk up and down the stairs with luggage when it was time to check out. They didn’t change our sheets then tried to charge us a fee because of a card key so make sure you take them downstairs with you
