Can Simoneta - Adults Only

This has to be the most incredible hotel we’ve stayed in. Every single detail was 100% perfect. The food was outstanding but most of all the hotel staff were exceptional! We were treated like guests and not clients. I can’t fault them on anything.

The setting is of the hotel is truly unique, perched high above the Mediterranean with breathtaking views to the Horizon, direct access to the Sea and a private beach. The pictures on the hotel website don't do it justice. The Service was impeccable, truly 5 star in both the restaurant and around the pool. Concierge service couldn't have been more helpful from suggestions on places to eat, boat hire, towns to visit and scenic walks. We stayed in the Beach House, again with sublime waterside views. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious but need updating. Restaurant food was amazing, it is Mexican/ Spanish Fusion but high quality. We asked for a traditional Spanish meal one night and it couldn't have been more perfect. Compliments to the chef. Highly recommend staying here.

What a massive disappointment. If you read the website, they paint a picture of a gastronomic adventure, fusing Majorcan with Mexican food. The nearest it gets to Mexican is guacamole, which is not as nice as we are buying in the Mercadona supermarket, and some beef wrapped in a tortilla again available everywhere in Spain, so let’s start at the beginning hotel is beautifully done and typical of a boutique hotel on the island. Nothing particularly special, but there again, nothing that you could really fault. Also, to be fair, the service is impeccable and we were looked after by two or three young men and women who seemed very on the ball and was smartly presented. I should say they spoke English very well also. As for the food I would not even give it one star, having read the claims made on the website. I am your typical home chef and everything that came out was not even as good as we eat every night at home. I won’t bore you with the details but needless to say my wife ordered softshell crab and it effectively came out in a subway roll filled with tinned brown crab meat coleslaw inedible at best so we didn’t eat it. The menu is so uninspiring that I thought I would play safe and just have a Caesar salad. It appeared with little gem lettuce scattered with tomatoes and some sliced cheese that I could not name. The Caesar dressing was in a bowl on the side and definitely came from a supermarket jar. I would like to say the main criticism was having tomatoes on the salad but it was actually the chicken which was preformed chicken nuggets. I have never been served a Caesar salad this way I needed to say I did not eat it. In short, the menu is un inspiring, nothing new to normal fare on the island, and certainly really no Mexican influence and not with standing the fact that it was an hour and a half drive from our base on the south west of the island. I would’ve been disappointed if I had driven five minutes to get there. However, having reviewed the website, I actually charted a helicopter and threw myself across the island to the restaurant. Before you even consider visiting, I would suggest you look at the pictures of the food on the website and look at the pictures that I am posting 1000 words, do not portray the difference which is chalk and cheese on the level. I have never experienced. I have never said this before on Tripadvisor, unless your car has broken down round the corner and you were starving hungry I would Recommend this establishment

Quiet luxury at its finest. When we booked this hotel for August of 2022, there were not many reviews and there still aren’t. Don’t let that dissuade or concern you - it’s spectacular in every aspect. The service is truly five star luxury, the food is divine, and the views are STUNNING. Feels like you are in a fairy tale land. There are two pools both equally beautiful - one set down by the beach and the other, the main pool, near the main guest house. The rooms are simple, understated luxury and most with outside sitting areas. I don’t think there is a bad room in the place. I believe we stayed in room 6 near the front desk area (I could be wrong about the room number). Does not matter, you won’t be in your room often - you will be at the pool enjoying delicious drinks and snacks while sunning yourself under the Mediterranean sun. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. They are they also friendly and seem genuinely kind. Anything you need they are ready to provide. No request is too small. For example, I needed some antibiotics during our stay - they summoned a doctor that day to the hotel who wrote the Rx for $100. The folks there really want to help and want you to enjoy your stay. We absolutely loved this special place.

A very nice adults only “retreat”. Lot’s of space for every guest in the outside areas. A perfect spot to relax and be treated well. We had a very nice suite in a house right on the cliff. The suits are spacious, comfortable with a modern Mediterranean touch. The Spa treatments are nice, too. Sometimes, however, you need to be driven to the neighboring hotel (400m) as there is only one treatment room. The gym is small, yet, ok equipped with a great view. The food is superb! The breakfast buffet and menu is not only of very good quality, but also with a lot of choice. The chef is Mexican. Thus, lunch and dinner have a serious mexican influence. If you love the mexican cuisine, you will be in culinary heaven. If not, you may be likely better of to go sometimes to other restaurants to enjoy the Mallorquin cuisine. The service is excellent! All in all we loved our long couples weekend.

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. Truly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. From the minute we checked in the service was phenomenal. The grounds are gorgeous and the food, omg... some of the best meals we ate during our entire stay on Mallorca. We stayed in the beach house and the accommodations were clean and comfortable, you really can't beat walking out of your room and right into the ocean. As much as we wanted to explore the area we really did not want to leave the hotel! We are already trying to plan our next visit back to Can Simoneta. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

My wife and I stayed at Can Simoneta at the end of August and had an amazing time. The property is very serene and peaceful, and has the most amazing ocean views as well. We stayed in a Beach House room that had a small patio and great view. If you're staying in a Beach House room, be aware that you will be doing a bit of uphill/downhill walking during your stay. The walk is beautiful, but a bit strenuous. Both pools are great, and we spend time between them during our stay. The gym is small and outdoor (glass enclosed, open on each end), and we used it twice during our stay. The spa is also small, just a single glass structure with a separate turkish bath and sauna. We had 2 massages, and they were amazing. Big thanks to our therapists, they were both fantastic and the prices were reasonable. All of the staff was great, especially the front desk staff (Stella especially) who helped us with basically anything we needed, as well as recommendations for food and activities in Mallorca. The restaurant staff were great too, as were the food and drink options. The included breakfast was incredible, you would really have to see the shear size and variety to understand. We will definitely be back, as we truly enjoyed both the Can Simoneta and Mallorca in general very much. Thanks to all of the staff for an amazing stay!!! Doug & Yolanda

We spent an entire week in this breathtaking resort. It’s located right at the sea with stunning views especially from the dining and breakfast area. Service and hospitality does not leave any room for improvement. They even installed a high speed router only for a video call that I had to make. Definitely one of the best breakfasts ever - dinner was always excellent (esp. in the Mexican gourmet restaurant). We stood in the Grand Suite and really enjoyed every day. We certainly will come back!
