We return to a room with good memories and great floors. We have a nice sunny window in an old converted mansion in the Green Point section of Cape Town. The staircases, chandeliers, red hallways, original etched stained glass, a swimming pool, pool table, bar, self-catering kitchen and fabulous, central location make the Big Blue a fun place to stay.

Terrible! The owner has clearly lost interest in the place. It's shabby and tacky. It's more like a homeless shelter for unemployed desperados. It's not up to the standard of other lodges in Cape Town and not recommended for tourists. Keep googling..... :-))
