I stayed twice, for a couple of days each time, at Cape Finest Guesthouse in March 2024. The first time I stayed in Tulip (top floor) and the second time in Nachtwacht (main floor), both of which are spacious road-facing rooms with ensuite bathrooms, although Tulip is clearly preferable (larger, quieter). I loved the setting of the CFG in Waterkant neighbourhood, with lots of old, lovingly renovated, and colourfully painted brick houses (CFG being one of them), many restaurants and bars, little boutiques as well as the Cape Quarter mall. It's a 15-minute walk, or a short taxi ride, to the V&A Waterfront. I appreciated CFG's personal and attentive service, the elaborate breakfasts, and the readiness to accommodate various requests. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot, both day and night, to relax and enjoy views of the distant harbour and Table Mountain.

Gillian came to our rescue at the last minute after a booking I had made elsewhere for my Mom and I turned out to be a disaster. Before we knew it we were booked in and Willy was looking after us! What an asset he is too. He went above and beyond with the loveliest attitude and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble. And what a beautiful place, an excellent location (walk to shops, restaurants, etc.) - the evening started off badly at the other place but ended up in bliss. We have now found our CT place to stay and will most definitely be back!

I stayed at more than one of their properties and as an avid traveler I highly recommend this company! The properties are beautiful and their staff was incredible, highly professional, and caring! Their staff are the real reason I would use them again in a heartbeat, highly recommend!

This is a wonderful apartment with cute little pool. Perfect for a couple. Kitchen and living room very convient and comfortable. Bedroom and ensuite bathroom big comfortable and chic and with everything needed. we will definitly come back.

Many reasons to come back to this guesthouse year after year: Perfect and professional service, quick responding, personal contacts, great very friendly team, breakfast options, aircondition, at the property in De Waterkant a beautiful rooftop with amazing views etc. They offer a large variety of room and apartment options matching different traveling needs, for example in De Waterkant, Sea Point, Camps Bay. For us one of the best places to stay when we are in Cape Town!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Perfect stay, Will and Sam are really great host and they have been really helpful with any request but all the staff here is really friendly. If you are going to be in Cape Town, I highly recommend to stay here. Location is good, very safe and close to many restaurants. Rooms, service, breakfast all excellent!

Where to start...A very special experience from start to finish. Sam and the team couldn't do more to ensure we had they best time great attention to detail. Service was fantastic, our room exceptionally clean. The rooftop area and views were stunning. Sam made breakfast fit for a King and Queen. Location was perfect for all attractions.

If this place became a benchmark then I should start rating with 4 stars most of the other places I go. Our stay here was PERFECT. Service was lovely, Sam and Will went above and beyond with tips and helping with bookings. We were also lucky to get free laundry in our booking. The price was amazing for the return we got. The apartment was always clean and with all amenities. Good WiFi, AC, equipped kitchen, TV... nothing to complain about! The house and the neighborhood are lovely, quiet and safe. If I'm ever back in CPT I will definitely come back. This place helped a lot in falling in love with the city. Thank you all!!
