I booked and paid for my room. I was trying to go to a cave and visit the Ark Experience but I was relying on Google Maps and something messed up and it took me to a L & L Lumber Liquidators 2 hours in the opposite direction. I called and talked to the hotel before and told them I was planning to go to the ARK and would be checking in late. I called after I got lost and told them what happened and I was now 6 hours away. They ASSURED me my room was paid for and would be waiting whatever time I got there. Driving down dark, unlit, dirt roads with wildlife jumping in the road in front of me made that drive even slower. I got there at 3am and the girl at the desk told me they cancelled my room. I asked her what am I supposed to do and she told me "go to another hotel" I said but I PAID for this one, I am not paying for another one...she kinda shrugged at me. She told me there was nothing she could do, I asked if she expected me to sleep in my car in the parking lot when I had given them money for a room. She told me I didn't pay them, I paid ******* and I could sleep where I wanted, just not in one of the hotels rooms. I demanded the name and number of the hotel manager and regional manager. SHE REFUSED to provide them. She called the manager,and suddenly there was a room available. She made me give her a new credit card, so I am pretty sure I paid ******* AND the hotel for this room. VERY RUDE. She was the rudest person I dealt with on my whole trip. Stay next door!
