Jilin Provincial Hotel is a four-star hotel under the jurisdiction of the Jilin Provincial Government Agency Affairs Administration. The main building was built in 1958 and is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. This time, a family of three booked a parent-child room in a hotel, which included a 1.2-meter small bed and a 1.5-meter large bed, as well as three breakfasts for 363 yuan per night. Location: The hotel is located directly east of People's Square in the center of Changchun. It is only a 5-minute walk from Exit C of People's Square Station of Metro Line 1 (located in front of the Workers' Cultural Palace). It is very convenient to go anywhere. If you want to be able to enter the subway entrance from the first floor of the hotel, you may want to consider Hyatt (Hyatt is right next to the Jiefang Avenue subway entrance). The closest and most affordable place to buy thermal products nearby is the civil air defense mall. You can find shoes, thermal underwear, hats, gloves, thermal patches, etc. Facilities: Because it is a cultural protection unit, the hotel does not look very modern, but the exterior is clean and tidy. The interior was renovated in recent years. The lobby (picture 3), which is surrounded by columns and has a high ceiling, is very grand. The Dragon and Phoenix restaurant where breakfast is located is spacious and the crystal chandelier gives people a strong sense of ceremony (Picture 2). The rooms are well-decorated and provide a writing desk and lamp. Moreover, the room is heated by a heater instead of an air conditioner. The hand-washed clothes dried overnight by hanging them next to the heater. But there is no refrigerator in the room. There is no hand shower in the shower room, only one above the head. The shower room is quite cramped. Environment: Although the hotel is surrounded by roads on three sides, it has a large courtyard and is very soundproofed, so you can't hear any outside sounds when you sleep at night. Moreover, the hotel usually receives a lot of conferences and relatively few tourist guests, so the hotel accommodation floors are usually very quiet, which is very suitable for friends who have strict requirements on sleeping environment. But because the hotel building itself is only 6 stories high, you can't see far outside the window. If you want to see a thousand miles away, the Hyatt may be more suitable. Service: The service staff in government hotels may not be as attentive as those in chain hotels. They must say hello when meeting you, but as long as you ask questions or requests, they will try their best to answer or satisfy you. After consulting the restaurant staff, we found the civil air defense mall closest to the hotel and bought the much-needed cotton hats, scarves, thick gloves and baby warmers, which were of high quality and cheap. Whether it's cleaning or repairs, the response is very fast. Dining: The buffet breakfast is located in Longfeng Restaurant, with Chinese hot and cold dishes, Western snacks and salads, Chinese steamed porridge, milk coffee, etc., as well as tofu dough sticks, freshly cooked wonton noodles, and freshly fried eggs. But the only regret is that in the morning after 6 days, the Chinese hot dishes basically remained the same. Steamed eggs, spicy cod, stir-fried shredded pork with sauerkraut, chicken nuggets with mushrooms, and soybean curd were all available every day, which made people a little tired. If you are bringing your kids to Changchun, I highly recommend staying here!

This hotel in Jilin Province is very good. I really like it. It’s clean, fresh and fresh. All facilities are complete and easy to use. The surrounding environment is also the best. A taxi from the train station costs 8 yuan. It is only over 600 meters away from Changchun Department Store. The breakfast in the restaurant is very rich, including Chinese and Western food.

I originally booked a deluxe twin room, but after arriving at the hotel, I was upgraded to a family room. The room is spacious and the sofa bed is very comfortable. There is a thick and soft mattress on the sofa bed, which is very comfortable to lie on. The toiletries in the hotel are more complete and high-end than those in five-star hotels. The only drawback is that the shower room is slightly smaller. The room was very warm and the windows needed to be opened. The breakfast is a rich mix of Chinese and Western cuisine, and the breakfast room is luxurious. All in all we are very satisfied and will recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel is a historical relic building with a very good location. It is right next to the People's Square subway and across the road, which is very convenient. The lobby is very grand. The room I booked is an ordinary double bed room. The facilities in the room are indeed a bit old, and the heating boards next to the windows have fallen off. The shower room is large, the faucets are relatively poor, and the facilities are not up to par. There is a lot of mineral water in the room, in large bottles. There are quite a lot of breakfast varieties and the taste is okay. The hotel is very cost-effective and I stayed there for three consecutive nights.

I booked a room nearly two weeks in advance, but on the same day I saw that the room rate was 100 yuan cheaper. Fortunately, I took a quick look and decided to cancel and rebook. Not to mention the room I was assigned, it had a big chimney, no view, and there was noise when the window was opened. Everyone said that the food here is good. I wanted to eat but I was told that there were no private rooms. I was told that it was the same when it was delivered to the room. The braised pork and vermicelli noodles were 88 per portion. It was a sky-high price. I was speechless. The tableware provided were all disposable, especially the chopsticks. Very shoddy. I thought the hotel's good reviews were due to its breakfast. I tried it in the morning and it was very average. Fortunately, I didn't spend money on it. Never come again

Let's just say, apart from the location, I have nothing to recommend. The service is totally unsatisfactory, the tea bags are not refilled when cleaning the rooms, the carpets are dirty, and the air conditioning is almost non-existent. When checking out today, a large number of group guests (checking in for conferences) were blocking the way to check in or check out. There was no order, no one maintained the chaos. I asked at the check-out desk, and a waitress said flatly: Go in line. It’s like I’m trying to jump in line. And when I went to the waiter next to me to check out, the evil woman just now deliberately sneered. This is the service attitude of the provincial hotel. Not recommended at all, it will affect tourists’ mood. I was in a good traveling mood, but this hotel ruined it.
