Excellent will return

Very old hotel, next to the church cemetery. But this is very common in the UK, it doesn't matter. But the bath towel in my room was dirty, with a few large stains on it, which made people worry about the sanitary condition of the hotel. In addition, the rooms are relatively dated. Summary: It's good to take pictures, but the hygiene is not good.

Food was quite mediocre and high price. Coffee was terrible, couldn't get a decent coffee during stay. Hotel position and building were lovely, room was fine but food really lets it down overall.

Booked last minute to stay here after a disastrous booking at another hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding and went that extra mile to help out. Absolutely wonderful stay. Very special thanks especially to Sofia on reception. Wonderful staff and a lovely location

Terrible night sleep due to pillows being too hard and next door having an argument with people outside at 2am. Food was alright in the restaurant, but when we tried to get some lunch before leaving in the bar, they didn’t have club sandwiches, ham hock or pesto… I don’t really understand how you can’t have a whole club sandwich, when there’s numerous elements to it that would have to be missing, so can only assume it’s pre-packaged? No golf as the course was waterlogged due to rain, which is no fault of the hotels, but a disappointment nonetheless. Definitely wouldn’t come back, it’s really not worth it.

Fantastic stay at Delta Hotels, St Pierre, Chepstow! Beautiful surroundings, relaxing pool, lovely food...planning to visit again soon & am saving for a Spa treatment.

While corporate they remained flexible. Our golf was rained off and we got a voucher valid for a year. I was also a bit early for check inn. They kindly let me use the gym.

Very warm and comfortable rooms, which include excelant wifi and office desk wholich makes this hotel an excellent stop on business trips. Access to the well apoimted Gym, and excellent Golf course made this hotel an ideal spot to stay.

Lovely stay. Good facilities, lovely suite and excellent food. Good value Slightly noisy party on the room below for one night but certainly not the hotel’s fault. Slight mix up at check in - we were a party of 3 and the sofa bed wasn’t made up ready, and no spare bedding in the room. One quick call to reception and all was sorted really quickly - we appreciate things occasionally go awry, and it’s how these are dealt with which is the mark of how good a hotel is. The team were brilliant and shows the professionalism of the staff. We will return

Overall it’s a gorgeous hotel. The staff are smiley and friendly yet never intrusive. The food is a good standard but room service is shockingly expensive (£70 for a cheese sandwich, some bread and tomato dip and a chicken roll) and it would be nice if there was a walk in shower instead of over bath showers.

It was just a one night stop overfor us.. Very convenient from the motorway. Wwould like to stay again and have a round of golf

The hotel, its facilities, particularly the gym and spa, and the staff are all excellent. Unfortunately it’s let down by the room: foul smelling hallway, room in need of an update, no where to properly hang and dry towels, no mirror in front of the sink for shaving, no toilet lid nor toilet brush, furniture in need of an update, very hot in room, even with radiator off; could only marginally crack one window to let air in, no proper fan in bathroom so it misted up terribly. Lots of tiny, little things, but altogether, considering it is a 4 star, not a 2 star hotel, leave you with one big sour taste in the mouth. On the plus side, the gym and spa area are one of the most substantial I’ve seen at a hotel. If you like golf, you’ll probably love this place with its own course, putting green and driving range. The evening meal was pretty good and the staff were all really nice, helpful and attentive. Couldn’t fault them. They are all hard working and eager to help. Being a mixture of old buildings, the place is a bit of a maze, but this adds to its charm and the staff are on hand to direct you. Breakfast was substantial, but mediocre quality. Pretty standard for most hotels. All in all a good hotel that is let down solely by the rooms.

Decent stay in comfortable room. Only downside being the somewhat pretentious clientele.

Staff are very friendly & helpful . The bar menu isn't to good but the restaurant menu is better. Would recommend it for a weekend away .
