A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

Most of the hardware facilities are good, but the trash cans in the room and toilet are too small. The overall atmosphere is great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast tastes good too. The pool is also great. The free bicycle rental service is also very good, but it is recommended to pay more attention to the brake problem. The brakes of some bicycles feel a bit loose. The rooms are really beautiful and clean. We were showed to our room upon arrival and were welcomed with champagne and fruits in the room. Drinks in the fridge and snacks were complimentary and they had bathtub in the balcony. There may be bugs at night so do remember to close the balcony door. Public pool is small but nice, not much guests using it. The breakfast is so awesome with exquisite plating and good service, not to be missed. For afternoon tea, we only managed to try it on the first day as we were out the next few days. We were also gifted sandwiches when we were leaving, not to mention it was so nice. Will definitely visit again when I go Chiangmai.

Arriving here after a long travel day was like seeing an oasis, the large white gates and hotel staff greeted us - taking our bags and directing us where to sign in - all in a very quiet setting (the hotel is always quiet - very little outside noises and staff/guests are considerate of the peaceful atmosphere). Extremely clean, pool was relaxing and refreshing. The grounds was like walking amongst a museum with lighting at night. We had a suite for 4 of us - two master bedrooms joined by a large comfortable living room and a private covered deck where we spent much time reading, sleeping, catching up on our jet lagged bodies. The location is at the heart of many temples and in old city, foot rubs, places to eat, and a wonderful laundry lady across the street who had our clothes cleaner than we've ever had them in 24 hours. The restaurant was elegant, quiet, dinner was accompanied by local live music which was just the right volume. When we return, we will stay here again.

Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

This is a very nice little Boutique Hotel in a very central location within the Old City. On Sundays , you can just step out of the hotel to the Sunday Walking Street Market! Despite being a Busy Street on the weekends , inside the hotel , it is relatively quiet and peaceful. You can easily Grab to and from this hotel. Upon check in, staff are warm and friendly. Check in was a breeze and we were introduced to the room personally and the special hotel app whereby you can send in your requests 24-7. Hotel also offers 2 free drinks from the mini bar daily. Room is spacious and well appointed. Stayed in room 207 with balcony and pool view. Breakfast can be ordered to the room or at the cafe which is semi buffet style. You may order any set from the menu and have bread , fruit , cereal , salad and juices from the buffet bar. Food quality is alright. There is a gym which faces the street outside with free bicycles for guests use. There is a spa within the hotel but I did not try that. Found a very good spa just 2 shops beside the hotel. Zenza Spa offers awesome massage in a very clean and relaxing environment ! Went back there 3 days in a row! Look for May or Ann at Zenza, they are so friendly and professional! Now the not so good part… my room 207 is on the 2nd floor and need to climb up 2 small flights of stairs to reach the room. There is no bath tub within the room. Hence if you have kids or elderly travelling with you, it is recommended to go for the pool access rooms on the ground floor. The wifi in the room seems a bit weak and kept getting disconnected . Pillows are a bit too soft and there is no pillow menu for selection of pillows. Towels seems a bit old and yellowish too even though they are changed daily. It’s a good and well appointed hotel but definitely not a 5 * luxury boutique hotel. However for the rate we paid for , it is reasonable.

We looked at google maps and tried all of the places closest. No vacancies. We found this budget hotel that had ONE room left! It is in walking distance to Three Kings Monument, Phra Singh, and other Old City venues, massage spas, etc. Estia has a cottage feeling, like a hotel in rural Europe with Thai surroundings. Everything was clean, large bathroom, hot water, the usual soaps and shampoos. bring your own conditioner and shavers. We always bring our own just in case, but sometimes these budget hotels will give you them if you ask. The wifi was strong. The TV had the usual Thai channels with a few in English. The gardens were sweet with lots of flowers. The pool is clean and more lounge chairs than at some luxury hotels! The indoor dining area is large for groups and you can sit outside but it might not be convenient for toasting bread etc. We only ate breakfast, and, at 149 baht, it was very reasonable. A water jug and clean glasses, an automated americano and espresso machine, fresh milk and cream, cereals including muesli etc. White and whole wheat bread. You choose from menu pancakes or eggs of different cooking methods. Two eggs. You get a small plate of two types of fruit. If you calculate the cost of coffee, this 149 baht price is very fair. A suggestion for certain travelers: you could stay at a luxury resort a day or more for the experience then switch to Estia for the rest of the week unless you are very picky, because if you are a tourist out all day then this is just a place to sleep. We live in Chiang Mai as retirees. Staying in Estia brought me back to my youth traveling around Europe! At $27 a night, Estia may surprise you. This place has the perfect location dead center of the old city. The rooms are very clean with super comfortable beds, pillows and blankets. A/C works efficiently and cools the room quickly. We booked the family room and the double room, which was perfect for my family of 8. The bathrooms were very large with hot water, shampoo, soap and shower gel. There is a mini fridge, safe, umbrellas, with complimentary coffee and water each day in the rooms. Television has many local and movie channels. The free wifi works very fast and steady. The staff are exceptionally friendly and work hard to accommodate your requests and provide very useful information. Anu, the housekeeper, is amazing. He is attentive and has a good sense of humor. If you have a late arrival, send the hotel a message beforehand because they lock the front door. If you arrive and nobody is there, call Anu at +66832998047. If you speak slowly, he will understand you. Kittikorn, the general manager, was also extremely friendly and helpful. The big red taxis drive right up to the hotel. No need to call for one. There's usually one every minute. The restaurant has a good menu. We didn't eat there because we just wanted to eat street food until we couldn't walk anymore. The Sunday market opens up directly in front of the hotel and is an amazing experience. Plenty of delicious street food, clothing and souvenirs at cheap prices in every direction. We're definitely staying here again, when we come back!

Pros: 1. Perfect location for walking around, grabbing a red truck or hopping in a tuk-tuk. 2. Plenty of food places, both street food & restaurants, close by. 3. Beautiful room, nice new stylish furnishings. 4. Lots of hot water and ice-cold air con. 5. Friendly, accommodating staff. Cons: 1. For some reason, no one has heard of this hotel! They either recently changed the name, or else it’s new. But no worries, just say “3 Kings Monument” and you’ll be within a 1/2 block of the hotel. 2. They tell you to put toilet paper in a little trash can, don’t flush anything except -ahem- down the toilet, common in Third World countries, but I’ve NEVER seen a hotel require this. It’s mildly gross esp. on weekends when they don’t clean the rooms! You have to sign a form when you check in that says you will be charged something like $300 if you flush TP etc. down the toilet. There were a couple of times I forgot and had to fish TP out of the toilet. Ewww. 3. The service is friendly but uneven. I ordered a croissant with breakfast but then had to ask for butter and jam. My room was cleaned and restocked with bath gel, lotion, conditioner but no shampoo; had to call to get more. Every day, something was missing from the clean towel set, either hand towels or wash cloths. Had to call. 4. All I ate there was breakfast which was unremarkable, esp. with all the fabulous food right out the door. The Sunday night khon show didn’t happen. 5. On checkout, they would only take cash for my incidentals though I was required to give a credit card when I checked in. I had very little baht left as I was leaving Thailand and a taxi was in its way to pick me up (no time to run out & change money). Luckily, some kind German guy overheard and changed some dollars for me on the spot so I could pay my bill. 6. Some of the staff spoke extremely little or no English and had to get someone else to talk to me. This is really not acceptable in a tourist hotel and was frustrating for all of us. Despite the cons- Would I stay here again? Would I recommend this hotel? YES!!!

It's a good hostel for the price. The big bed was comfortable, the air conditioner was cool, the blankets were good, and I slept very well. The bathroom was separated for men and women. In the men's bathroom, there are 3 shower rooms with shampoo and shower gel, 3 toilets with bidets and tissue paper, 3 sinks, and 1 hair dryer. The security system is very good. A key card is required to tap the front door and the room door.

I would like to recommend this hotel very much because the boss of this hotel is very kind and hearty and give me very great help when I met trouble. I rented a motorcycle in Chiang Mai for one day. My plane took off the next morning early so I prepare return the motorcycle that day night. But the motorcycle store closed when I arrived because of the heavy rain, and I could not wait for the store open next morning because of the plane. I had no way to get my deposit back. At the moment I asked the boss of the hotel for help, and she and her son were very helpful, they had overcome many difficulties and done a lot of work and took my deposit back in the end. They are kind, responsible and enthusiastic. So if you have chance to go to Chiang Mai, please have a good night in this hotel--Namamema. It near by the Wat Chedi Luang, it is very convenient. I thank the boss again for her help and God bless you!

We booked to stay in Momo hotel because of its central location in the heart of Chiang Mai old town. Convenient shop, café, local eateries, ATM machine, massage & shopping shop are just stone throw away. Tourist attraction such as Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh & Wat Phantao and most importantly the Sunday Night Market is just walking distance from the hotel! Besides, the pool in the hotel is just perfect to chill & relax after a long day exploring around the old city. On the other hand, downside would be the small lift & luggage storage area, squeaky bed (only for our room) and a bar/café corner that seems not operation. Overall it was a great stay and experience staying in Momo hotel.
