Garden Grove Inn Bed and Breakfast

Really enjoyed our stay @ Garden Grove Inn. Hillary & the staff are all very nice and helpful. The breakfasts are very tasty too. We stayed in the Woodlands Suite and it was everything we could have asked for. Wonderful time. Would be happy to return in the future.

My daughters and I had such a wonderful time enjoying a girls weekend in Union Pier thanks to Hillary’s expert knowledge of the area and her quaint and cozy inn. Hillary helped us put together a fun-filled weekend based on our interests, hitting some of the best spots in the area. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was homemade and so delicious. I loved the coffee so much I had to make a trip to her local roaster to buy some to take home! The bed and breakfast experience is so fun and we loved the home-y feel of it all. The staff was so friendly and Hillary’s warmth and passion for hospitality shows through. We enjoyed chatting with her and learning about her dream of owning a B&B. We would highly recommend a stay. Union Pier had so much to offer and we couldn’t do it all in one weekend! We will be back!

A really amazing house, our room was perfect. The sitting area with fireplace was so great! We sat on the balcony with a glass of wine. Hilary is a delightful host, all amenities and breakfast were excellent. Minutes from freeway, grocery store & many choices to dine and shop. A Michigan gem. We will be back!

The host is amazing with communication before and during, She is an excellent cook and Breakfast is really good something you’ll remember. She thinks of all the little details too that make your trip worry free. Super clean with a warm home feeling.

A tranquil B&B located just off the highway, close to local attractions such as wineries and beaches. Dog-friendly which helped accommodate for my 70-lb dog. Breakfast delivered to your room, varies each day, so filling. Can’t wait to return back to his LGBTQ friendly site!

The Garden Grove Inn offers a lovely, wooded respite from the bustle that can be Michiana on a summer weekend. That said it is an easy walk to some restaurants and a public beach, and the drives are definitely not far to other towns, parks, wineries, etc. The rooms are in 2 separate buildings, one an old farmhouse, with most being on the second floor. There are all sorts of deligntful touches in the rooms, common spaces and outdoors, as well as several places to sit and relax, either indoor or outdoors, with some rooms having balconies. Some of the rooms are dog-friendly. The breakfasts were quite tasty and filling, with accommondations available for dietary quirks. Most are served in common areas, with tea, ice and water being available at will. It was delightful to chat with Hillary and her recommendations were spot on. The cat is also quite friendly, though he seems to prefer sleeping on the cover for the fire -pit. A great spot, we will definitly recommend to others, if we can't make it back ourselves.

We love the Garden Grove Inn! My husband and I have stayed here a few times already, and we came for a mini honeymoon right after our wedding. Hillary is so helpful, welcoming, and kind. We always have a fantastic experience. The Inn is within walking distance to restaurants, wineries, and cafes. It’s also a short drive from many parks and attractions! We can’t wait to stay again soon!

From the delicious gourmet breakfasts, to the comfy beds in well-appointed rooms, to the beautiful garden setting, the Garden Grove Inn is an outstanding place to relax and enjoy the ambience of Union Pier, Michigan. The friendly and accommodating innkeeper responded positively to the special dietary needs of two members of our party. We had a grand time hanging out at the inn and will return (when the smokey air from the Canadian wildfires clears) !!!

I found this one last minute on our trip, I love to support local! Bed and Breakfast are always so different! We arrived late evening, thinking we wouldn’t be greeted, which was fine. Yet, Hillary still greeted us! Our room was super adorable upstairs, old fashioned! Still big huge windows for fresh air! Breakfast was perfectly portioned and good!! Hillary is a very kind person, makes for a great host! The property is beautiful! The cheese/meat box we ordered as an extra was a nice late snack when we arrived! Hope to visit again sometime!
