I needed a bed for a single night, and I wanted to be able to reheat some food I had on a stovetop, because it was late and too much trouble to grab fast food. This place fit that bill. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I have stayed at a Homewood Suites before, so I knew what to expect, but this was an excellent property. All the facilities that I did not even use looked great. The complimentary breakfast would only be better if bacon and grits were on offer; otherwise it was very good.

I was very pleased with the facilities. The room was very clean and spacious. All needed amenities were present. I was welcomed at check-in and felt the breakfast buffet was great. The meeting space provided was ample for the needs of the organization I traveled with.

Although I already paid over Trip.com I was taken off the room again and when I told them e I had already paid it was told me this was cancelled but next day I received a message against my bank The room was charged to me so I had to pay the room 3 times. I wouldn't check in there anymore because it is connected with very many circumstances. From 9:00 a.m. it's going to be noisy because the staff when cleaning the room sound music hears something nervous I have to say.

Hotel was sold out so the rooms were already assigned when we checked in. This wasn't an issue until the 4 of us on this trip walked in to a 1 king bed room. We went back downstairs where the front desk acted like they weren't going to be able to switch us because it was sold out. We checked in a little early so there's no way everyone staying had their rooms already- it should have been a quick switch. Finally I pulled up the reservation to show we had booked a 2 queen room. We went to the new room and dropped our stuff before heading out to a concert that we were in town for. When got back to the hotel after midnight our experience got even worse. One girl went to shower and noticed mold on the shower ceiling. The rest of us were welcomed with wet feet from the damp carpet. We were so tired that we just decoded to climb in bed. Imagine our auprise when ALL of the bedding was just as damp. It was so icky and uncomfortable none of us could fall asleep. I called the front desk to let them know around 2am and they said they'd send housekeeping up at 6am. No one ever came. I also mentioned all of this to the lady during checkout and wrote a note to have the manager call me when she was in on Monday. No one called. I've called now 3 days in a row and nothing. Very disappointed in our stay and in the hotel's communication.

This weekend should have been a memorable celebration for my girlfriend, Terris, marking her 50th birthday in Columbus, Ohio. Instead, our stay at the Hampton Inn on 4017 Jackpot Road, Grove City, was overshadowed by an incident that compels us to call for immediate action and introspection from the hotel management. Upon returning to the hotel around 1 AM, ahead of our group, we were confronted with a situation that was both unexpected and unwarranted. The front desk attendant, LeAnne, informed us of the hotel's check-in policy, which necessitated Terris's son's presence. We acknowledged the policy and explained that her son was indeed on his way to the hotel to comply with this requirement. However, LeAnne refused to believe us, treating us as if we were deceitful and had just arrived without any intention of adhering to the policy. Despite our efforts to accommodate her concerns and find a resolution, LeAnne's demeanor remained confrontational and dismissive. Terris, seeking to de-escalate the situation, proposed a simple solution: transferring the booking from her son's name to hers. Yet, instead of engaging with this proposal, LeAnne escalated the situation by calling the police—a reaction that was both disproportionate and deeply troubling. The involvement of the police only compounded the distress of the situation, with LeAnne making baseless accusations against Terris. This experience highlights a significant failure in customer service, raising concerns about the consistency and application of hotel policies, as well as the professional conduct of its staff. We share this account not in search of retribution but to advocate for meaningful change and accountability. The incident at the Hampton Inn in Grove City is a stark reminder of the need for clear, fair policies and the importance of treating all guests with respect and dignity. It is unacceptable for guests to be met with suspicion and hostility, particularly when they are actively trying to comply with hotel requirements. Our call to action is for the Hampton Inn and its leadership to address this incident head-on, to reevaluate their training programs, and to ensure their staff is equipped to handle situations with professionalism and empathy. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, without having to prove their honesty or intentions. This Fairfield is our favorite place to go when we want a home away from home. We are very particular about cleanliness when staying at a hotel and we're not disappointed. The lobby was clean, floors spotless even in the elevators. Even the patio furniture was clean! Our suite made us feel at home immediately, no icky feelings as happens sometimes when traveling. The pool area was also clean and fresh and the pool water the perfect temperature. Great experience!
