We had to spend a night, unplanned, in Courseulles-sur-Mer due to a car problem and were recommended Hotel de Paris by the garage who were repairing the car. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and looked after. Lots of sympathy over our car problems and we were immediately offered a room with a sea view for the night. The room was on the small side but had plenty of cupboard space and a very nice ensuite. Nicely decorated. Extra pillows were tucked away in the cupboard should you want them. The breakfast was the usual French hotel fare - buffet style with cold meats, fruit, cereals, pastries etc. Plenty of good coffee. This is a pet friendly hotel and there were many guests with dogs so if pets aren’t your thing, beware! But the dogs were very welcome and the staff made a fuss of them - clearly putting the dog owners at their ease. This is a friendly, traditional French seaside hotel with lots of charm and free wi-fi. There was a tv in the room but we didn’t use it. It would be a good place to stay if visiting the Normandy beaches - Courseulles is pretty.
