A 5 mins walk down the alley to reach the west side of ancient town after crossing the highway. It is very dangerous in crossing the highway which has no traffic light. Not recommended to stay here if you have small children or old people as crossing the highway is risky.
Hotel has a quiet and good atmosphere. Nice courtyard. Mountain view is so so as there are houses or buildings blocking the view hence the mountain view is limited.
A little/steady worn out in general of the hotel rooms and would be good if there is continuous non- stop touch up or renovation of the worn out areas (eg wall paintings, washroom moulds, broken window screen / hatch which can't lock the windows, the very old mat at the 2F balcony). It will not cost much but improve the status of the hotel. I hope the hotel staff can spend more of their idle time to identify areas / items which wore out and do more efforts to touch up/renovate .
Hotel staff are friendly..
In general, a nice place to stay at and I would like to come back to stay in here again . Good value.

Nice and clean room with a big roof window and a beamer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It´s a short walk to the shops of Dali Ancient City.

I changed a homestay every day. The overall environment of the area where this homestay is located is better. I recommend everyone to book Lanyunchensu Inn. It is very close to the ancient city and only takes 10 minutes to walk to the ancient city. The overall price is not high. A friend I met during the trip stayed in the ancient city for more than 300 yuan a night, and the environment was not as good as the one I chose. If I have the opportunity to come to Dali again, I will definitely choose the homestay here.
