The room is not big but clean and tidy, with a reasonable layout (the bathroom may be a bit crowded for a big person), and the bedding is comfortable. It's a pity that I didn't remember to take pictures of the room. The public area is a small garden on the second floor, full of flowers, birds, insects, fish, and squirrels. We wanted to see the peacocks, and the kind boss specially let them out to play. The boss and his wife are very good. They called for consultation before checking in and patiently answered my questions. I forgot something at the hotel, and the boss's wife called me to confirm it, and she also paid for the postage to help me mail it, which really deepened my good impression of Datong people. The room I booked is a small duplex suite, which is a bit small, especially the bathroom, which is very crowded. The bathroom is under the stairs, so men will bump their heads. If you book a large duplex suite, it will be much more spacious, and there will also be a window balcony. Although the room is small, the preparations are very complete. There is only a small skylight in the second-floor bedroom, which is not opened. It has a bit of moldy smell, but this flaw is offset by the hotel's advantages. Baby likes the public space on the second floor, with a fish pond, peacocks, squirrels and parrots, and birds and flowers!

Huayan Temple is opposite. You can also hear the bell in the morning (although it comes from the loudspeaker). Unfortunately, there were sandstorms and strong winds on the two days I went there, so I didn't enjoy it on the balcony. In short, the inn is very cost-effective.
