We had a very nice time over New Year's Eve for 4 days in the Bio Hotel Mohren's spa suite. Organic is really a statement here and is lived and experienced. The dpa suite is beautiful, the food is excellent and the head of the house has time to chat with the guests. The staff of the spa treatments are super professional and leave nothing to be desired. A clear recommendation. Nevertheless, a constructive feedback on our part: - For 4 days it would be good if the room service came. Unfortunately, the suite was never made for us. - The staff at the breakfast buffet could do with being a bit more vigilant about clearing dishes, etc. - If the breakfast buffet is open until 11:30, the groceries shouldn't run out by 10:00. - The Spam lacks a pool or whirlpool to make it perfect. But that's high-level feedback. Definitely a clear recommendation from us!

Gemütlich moderne Einrichtung, zuvorkommendes Personal und kleine, frische Karte. Auf den ersten Blick bietet die Auswahl an Gerichten nichts überraschendes, jedoch geschmacklich offenbart sich Klassiker, wie Schmorbraten mit Spätzle und Rote-Beete-Chip oder die Dreierlei Nockenknödel als wunderbar ausbalanciert und klar im Geschmack. Wer internationale Crosscuisine, asiatische Einflüsse mit sieben Gängen nebst mindestens so zahlreicher Weinbegleitung sucht, ist hier falsch. Lieben werden es die, die es mögen, wie wir: Pur, authentisch, konsequent ohne viel Tamtam.

Anlässlich eines runden Geburtstags hatten wir uns mit der ganzen Familie für ein paar Tage eingebucht einschließlich eines Essens mit Freunden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, auch der Wellness ist sehr schön und unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Sonntagabend, unterwegs zum Höchsten: Wir machen Pause im "Mohren" und wollen "nur" etwas trinken. Der Kellner reagiert muffig und lässt sich Zeit, die Getränkekarte an den Außentisch zu bringen. Dann passiert: NICHTS. Gäste, die nach uns kommen, werden prompt bedient, bestellen Speisen und Getränke. Da geht es fix. Während sie schon essen, warten wir immer noch, dass der Kellern die Bestellung aufnimmt. Er taucht ein Dutzend Mal im Außenbereich auf (das Lokal ist nur halbvoll), auch seine Kollegin zeigt sich - aber wir werden ignoriert. Nach 25 Minuten stehen wir auf und gehen. Er sieht's und wendet sich ab - unfassbar.

Nettes, familiengeführtes Biohotel ohne Schnickschnack, mit gutem Design und leckerem Essen! Besonders gut hat uns das Spa und das Frühstücksbüffet gefallen. Der Service ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und super unkompliziert!

Einer der guten Vorsätze, Land und Leute kennenlernen und dabei ganz viel für Körper und Geist tun. Beides konnte ich hier in vollen Zügen genießen. Neben einen kleinem feinen Zimmer, sehr leckeren Essen und einer wunderschönen Wellnesslandschaft habe ich das Wochenende für viele Massagen/Behandlungen genutzt.

Das tolle Bio-Essen und das Personal sind uns besonders positiv aufgefallen. Wir haben einen ganz tollen Ober gehabt, der den Service aus Leidenschaft macht und mit uns dann Abends noch an der Bar saß. So etwas gibt es selten, auch der Servicemann beim Frühstück viel besonders durch netten Service und Charme auf. Wir haben dann auch noch ein extra Stück Rindfleisch dazu bekommen - da noch etwas in der Küche über war. Das einzige was nicht besonders servicefreundlich war: wir mussten noch mal am Tag der Abreise 20 Euro pro Person für den Saunabereich zahlen. Das ist nicht üblich bei Wellnesshotels und ist daher nicht besonders Gäste-freundlich. Wegen 20 Euro am Ende den super Gesamteindruck zu dämpfen finde ich nicht besonders strategisch von der Geschäftsführung. Die Mitarbeiter und das Essen haben das aber wieder wett gemacht.
