Carom Inn a Travelodge by Wyndham Denham Springs/Baton Rouge

You get a super clean basic hotel perfect needing some rest and a shower. A nice size TV too.

We had a hectic and exhausting day. It was wonderful to find a nice, clean and well managed hotel that we could rest in.

Great except for the neighbors who sounded like they were throwing furniture around and slamming their door

When I ordered Uber Eats and they delivered w/out utensils..I called Hotel office and they couldn't even spare a spoon or fork..also no coffee in room... Asked weird question about my car, etc..a lil strange

It was a decent place to stay overnight. Room smelled fresh, was reasonably clean, had sufficient towels and bedding. Microwave and fridge in the room were very handy. Overall, a comfortable place for the price.

I liked this place and will stay there again when visiting my sons. It’s a little worn but a good value for the money. I felt safe and comfortable as a woman traveling alone. Only complaint was no coffee in the room but there’s a microwave and fridge and lots of coffe / food options nearby.

It was okay. We weren't familiar with the name Carom Inn and that the lodging was owned by Wyndham Properties. The room was comfortable enough to sleep and shower after I did an antibacterial wipe down with 409, Fabuloso and Lysol wipes. The iron did not work in room 107 and the management team definitely will need to call on pest control. We spotted several spiders during our stay and an unfamiliar bug as we exit from our room to check out. Nice TV unit, with cable and streaming capabilities, the air in the room was cool the bed was tolerable. Would stay again if my preferred choices are not available for a last minute trip. Definitely need interior updates 20-30 years behind. There were other lidge guest on the property and they decided to light a portable grill on the near the parking space left their grilled food containers and threw away their chicken wing bones in the parking lot and dumped the empty Modelo beer bottles in a nearby ditch. Otherwise, budget friendly, two night under $250 stay was the same rate for one night stay at other hotel which were running $600-$1000 for two nights.

Staff was very nice and the room was clean, but not fancy. Didn’t like the tile floors throughout the room. I prefer carpet but understand the facility was flooded previously. There were very large potholes all around the parking areas.

Watch out for these house keepers they do not read your do not disturb sign and staff is very unfriendly will not help accommodate errors Young guy at night is fine older man has a attitude and they are always sleeping and half asleep when you late check in un profesional
