Palace Hotel

Beautiful hotel, large luxury room (the basic one in our case), great roof pool as the main pool was shut in October, pool specic towels were provided as well as a safee, slippers, robe, tea, coffee and toiletries. The staff and cleaners were amazing The room had aircon thank goodness as it was 20+. There were lovely grounds, great bar area, all in all just amazing. We had a hire car and without it I think we'd have been a little isolated as the hotel is an hours walk from Desenzano. There is a free public car park right next to the hotel which will save you 20 Euro a night. We didn't use the Spa but it looked lovely. Our only minor gripe was there wasn't a restaurant for an evening meal. There didn't seem to be many eating options that were walkable so we travelled into local areas for our evening meal but I might be doing the area a dis service. A special mention goes to Dali, the night manager. We arrived about 2am after a late flight and he was amazing and super helpful. A lovely experience, we will be back.

First class hotel, food excellent, staff excellent too and can’t do enough for you which to be honest I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The rooftop loungers and pool offer a well deserved tranquil oasis for either a day soaking up the rays or a leisurely nap after a hard day’s sightseeing.

A great hotel with clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast buffet and access to a good variety of snacks and light meals throughout the day served at the bar or pool area. The pool, jacuzzi and garden area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and quiet corners to relax. We very much enjoyed a cocktail at the hotel bar which was well stocked and well staffed. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient - we'd like to give a special thanks to Francesco the bar manager who was invaluable with providing local information, advice and a friendly chat (he also makes the best espresso martini we have ever had!) Some lovely walks nearby and a few nice restaurants, but advisable to hire a car to explore further afield (taxis very difficult to come by). Overall would highly recommend,

Great venue for families and for couples. Location near the lake Super nice pools Super high level standard of service especially cleaning inside and outside, even a daily cleaning of the room balcony: no chance for a spider web. The term Palace is not an overstatement here.

Very pleasant hotel on roundabout on road from Verona to Desenzano Lovely garden and pool, but somewhat noisy especially at weekends Must have your own transport to get to the lakes and towns, otherwise cant get anywhere easily. Good breakfasts and lunches, but no food after 6pm

Terrible customer service, no restaurant open for lunch or dinner, No laundry, even though it says it on the website (the guy at reception so no laundry, and that I must be mistaken, I showed him his website saying laundry and he just said bad luck), room only had one power point in the bathroom, none in the room, bed was uncomfortable, there is a terrible fishy smell in the elevators and bathrooms. On the Sunday morning the hotel was playing music very loudly through the speakers at 5.20am, the rooms are very noisy. It is like a hotel that is ready to close down. Nothing is available and no-one cares ! It is a good 50 minute walk from the town centre and has not restaurant yet they put on a great big buffet breakfast but nothing else through the day. Not even at the bar and coffee shop - only thing to eat was donuts !

On a group trip to Northern Italy, we stayed two nights at this nice hotel. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and most rooms have a balcony, usually facing the lake. Staff were responsive and cordial. The Breakfast buffet was quite good and well stocked. All in all, a solid hotel and a nice place to stay on Lake Garda

I stayed here with some friends last week and throughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms were throughly cleaned every day with fresh towels. Plenty of choice at breakfast but it did become monotonous by the end of a week as there were no variations. The location is between Desenzano centre and Sirmione. So we walked which takes about an hour, got the bus and sometimes a taxi. We did struggle to get a taxi back from Desenzano one night but no problems from Sirmione. The staff were all lovely and I would recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel. Excellent and professional service. Great location - next to the Lake. Clean and cozy rooms. Dali was so reliable and friendly to us. He was always available and helped all our enquiries. Highly recommended and definitely will come again. Thank you for this amazing stay! Adelina and Yordan
