Hotel is conveniently located very near the airport. The checkin n check out was very smooth. The facilities like the gym n spa was fully equipped and clean. The service staff at the poolside and restaurant are very friendly n attentive. Quality of food in all the restaurants are good. Best hotel ever,zeker the Cove restaurant en de bediening van Graddafi,Reaz en vooral de rest van het personeel.De kamers zijn heel schoon . Ze rennen voor je wanneer je iets nodig hebt. I recently completed a two-week visit to Bangladesh and stayed at three different hotels. I will not only review them in detail but give an overview of my experience of budget hotels in Bangladesh as a tourist. Most of my thoughts, comments, and opinions on all three of these properties are the same so there will be some copying and pasting in these reviews. Tourists wishing to arrive in Bangladesh and receive a visa on arrival (VOA) are advised to have hotel bookings and Proof of Onward Travel (POOT). I made both hard and digital copies of all my bookings and they were checked at both the airline check-in counter and immigration in Dhaka. However, no one was interested in more than a few days of hotel bookings and I only presented hotel reservations for the first four nights. This is important for those of us who are plan-as-you-go travelers and don’t like to make bookings ahead of time. In the future, I will only book the first few nights and see how that goes. I ended up canceling several reservations (bookings) I made through Agoda because I changed my plans, and now, I have no doubt you can get a better price by simply walking in. On with the review of the hotel Pragati Inn: This hotel is close to the airport and was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, my room was extremely noisy because of the local road traffic. It is also a bit too far from Old Dhaka if you intend on exploring the most interesting parts of the city. This is a typical Asian-style budget hotel: a bit dated and could use some maintenance and a coat of paint. Having said that, the room and bathroom were surprisingly clean, and the air-conditioning and hot water were excellent. A complimentary breakfast was included in the price, but I did not try it. The wi-fi was so-so, in all three hotels I stayed at. I thought that the price I paid through Agoda ($45.75 USD) was a bit high for what I got. The owner of the hotel confirmed that if I were to book directly with the hotel, I could get a room for roughly half the price. I would only return here if I needed to be close to the airport.

If you feel that the hotel's food service cannot meet your needs, the nearby Seasonal Tastes (other Western food) and may wish to try. Beautiful environment, coupled with meticulous and thoughtful service, the hotel's leisure area will surely meet your quality needs. The BTRF Multipurpose conference hall perfectly combines warm service with professional quality. Dry cleaning service is available for your travel peace of mind.

Good to have a quick rest in a good hotel before/after the journey (5 min away from the airport). Adv to the foreigners: 1. Don't take the room facing the road.. very noisy during day/night with honking everytime non stop. 2. Try to avoid fresh juice if you know yr stomach can't take it, otherwise you will suffer from poisoning. The rest are acceptable as per the rest of other country's Best Western. Great view towards the airport on the rooftop while enjoying the BBQ dinner. Small gym and a massage center on the top floor. Transport to the airport - UsD9 Dinner buffet doesn't come with a hot drink, even with a cofee/tea (only for b'fast)..

My night at Hotel Afford-Inn was a pleasant surprise, blending comfort and affordability. A warm welcome with a juice at reception and helpful staff easing my luggage set a positive tone. The room, spacious and tidy with a cozy bed, i slept like a baby, maybe I was also exhausted from my long flights. Its proximity to the airport, just 2km away, was great, with quick and budget-friendly Uber rides at $3 to drop me off at the hotel and I paid arround $2 to Uber three wheels vehicle/TomTom to drop me off at the airport the next morning   The breakfast was modest. Street noise, inevitable in Dhaka, was a minor hiccup. Having tried pricier options with little difference and budget stays sacrificing comfort, Hotel Afford-Inn struck the right balance for me. For a low-budget, without compromising comfort, I'd recommend Hotel Afford-Inn and plan to return myself.
