We had reserved 2 rooms through booking.com. for May 6th. Things came up and we canceled our rooms on May 4th. Through Booking.com you can cancel up to the day before checking in for free. NOT. The hotel then took the money even though it was canceled. When I spoke to someone they told me I did not cancel. On my way back out of town I stopped at Days Inn to show them the proof. The woman looked at me and said well we held the room so no refund. Booking.com is now saying they aren't going to refund the money either !!!!!!!! I will make sure i tell everyone I know not to stay there or to book through Booking.com.

The rates didn’t start at $85 like the site said. But my husband was able to get a discount as a veteran. The room was clean. The bathroom had a sink, toilet, shower and a mirror. And that was the only mirror in the room. Which was inconvenient. There was a small microwave and refrigerator. The pillows were the small square type like you would use outside on the patio. There was a nice little breakfast area by the office with make your own waffles, cereal and sweet rolls. Coffee snd juice. The big issue was getting a receipt at checkout. We waited 22 minutes before a man finally showed up to help us. I understand that everyone is short handed but 22 minutes makes a huge difference when you are traveling and on a schedule. The man was very nice and apologetic. The room was clean. And we negotiated a reasonable rate.
