The most amazing staff who worked so hard and made the most stunning wedding for my sister and her husband. Fabulous and spotless bedrooms! Super comfortable beds and massive bedrooms! Beautiful food too. What a great place. And the grounds to the hotel are beautiful.

I went along with friends to an afternoon tea at Rossington Hall yesterday with entertainment by Thurcroft Brass Band which was great Sadly the road getting up there is full of pot holes nothing appears to have been done since I was there two years ago

Was a real treat to stay at the wonderful grand Rossington Hall The splendid en suite was bigger than some rooms I have stayed in elsewhere I was looking for somewhere off the main thoroughfare that had charm and character, Rossington Hall has that in and much more The greeting at reception was very warm and so too was the whole house on cooler October evening Whilst I was looking for a hot breakfast - Rossington Hall's refurbished gate lodge eatery at the bottom lane took care of that very well

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at Rossington Hall and it was an absolute dream come true. The hotel exceeded all of my expectations and provided the perfect setting for a memorable weekend. One of the most special aspects of our celebration was having the entire hotel to ourselves. This exclusive experience allowed us to create a truly personalised and intimate event. We were able to customise the space to our liking and enjoy the hotel without any distractions. From the start, staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They were always on hand to assist with any requests and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Their friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and at ease. The hotel itself is a stunning architectural masterpiece. The drawing room was particularly impressive and created a truly elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and provided a luxurious, comfortable and inviting space for our guests. The food was fantastic and they worked with me to provide a menu specific to my liking, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. It was all delicious and well presented. Our guests raved about the quality and taste of the food, and I couldn't agree more. The overall ambiance of the hotel was perfect for a celebration. The combination of beautiful surroundings and attention to detail created a magical and enjoyable atmosphere. I cannot recommend Rossington Hall enough. If you're looking for a venue that will make your special occasion truly unforgettable, look no further.

We cannot thank everyone enough at Rossington Hall for making a wedding that far exceeded our expectations! It was awe-inspiring from beginning to end, like a magnificent, lavish, dreamlike adventure: such as, walking out in front of the guests onto a red carpet (a gorgeous surprise… just magical) shortly after the ceremony. I have no idea how General Manager/Wedding Coordinator, Jayne managed to arrange every aspect and detail of our wedding with her colleagues and staff with such precision and yet charm, warmth, calmness, diplomatic assertiveness where required, and infectious humour. The ceremony was superbly coordinated by her and her team. Hugs and lovely comments from one or two staff I knew helped calm my nerves. During the reception and meal, it was so impressive to watch all staff treat every wedding guest as though they were royalty. The night before meal at Rossington and both morning breakfasts after - I think the best we’ve had - were just sumptuous and blissful as well… Thanks to all of their unbelievably hard working, fantastic staff, not forgetting owner, Gary’s impressive work behind the scenes in the kitchen for beautifully presented and delicious meals and breakfast. Although the overall experience of this was regal and luxurious, all staff - including Debbie present throughout, always delightful and lovely, while working around the clock, Thomas super patient and efficient on bar - were always courteous, extremely helpful, approachable and warmhearted…. A kind of welcoming and hospitable Rossington family…. Looking after you at every moment… Bending over backwards to bride and groom, guests alike… Myself and my husband received numerous texts from guests afterwards about how wonderful the wedding and venue were. If only we could relive this all over again. I’m sure we will return for an anniversary or several… We are humbled by our experience there.. and beyond appreciative!!!! Julie and Dave

As you enter the building you step back in time. It's a beautiful place and I would say a bit quirky. Staff are amazing so helpful. We ate at the hotel and the food was delicious a reduced menu as it was the St Ledger weekend but excellent quality in peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was also very good. Our room was large and very comfortable it was classed as a garden room but the view was of rooftops and the next door yard. Not an issue as we where only staying the one night and we slept very well as the room was do quiet. I guess for some the lack of a lift would be a problem. It really is a grand building thankyou we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely one night stay. The hotel isn’t perfect but it is a lovely stately building and the decor is in keeping with its history. The staff are lovely and our room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast at the lodge was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

I am struggling to understand why this hotel is not full every night. Fantastic vibe and elegance. Reasonably priced and beautifull grounds. Some building work going on which I think is holiday cottages / glamping pods so the road is a bit bumpy up to the hotel however a very minor inconvienience

We had the hotel exclusively for 2 nights for our wedding and it was just perfect. The staff on the night before the wedding were around if needed but also allowed us to feel able to just treat the Hall as our own. Debbie introduced herself the evening before the wedding and nothing was too much. We had 6 children as part of the wedding party and they loved playing in the grounds, looking at the peacocks and even had a few games of chess inside. We ordered takeaway pizza for the night before as we didn’t want a big meal, with the wedding the day after. The staff were accommodating with this, set a room up for us to eat, brought plates and cleaned up afterwards. The day of the wedding the team were brilliant and all worked so hard to make sure the guests had a good experience, even though it must of been so busy for them all, working behind the bar and serving us all. I think a few more staff would of been helpful, for the staff and to allow less queing for drinks, but as the hotel is a unique one I understand this is difficult, the staff however really did work hard and we’re always pleasant, so this is absolutely no criticism. The food was amazing, canapés, wedding breakfast and evening food was all lovely. The breakfasts both mornings were spot on too. Jayne, our wedding planner, thank you for all your help running upto the wedding, emails back and forth and phone calls. Keeping everyone in check the day of the wedding, and ensuring us as the bride and groom got our time and weren’t interrupted too much. When we originally booked the venue we were dealing with Tim who was efficient and communicated well, however after he left Jayne came on board, met with us and ensured she took all the information from us again so she was sure. Even with the minor blips that happen with wedding planning, Jayne rang me to go through these and we very much worked together. This is a lovely unique and personable venue for your wedding which is what we loved about it, it’s not the “run of the mill” hotel wedding venue and instead you can make it very personable to your own quirks and interests. Dirty. No signage for where reception was so I just wandered in & asked guy at bar. No tables outside only chairs & really hot weekend. I asked about this & no table brought out, even for the next evening. Lots of issues with room & dirt / stains. Garden a mess. Alarm went off at 6am Sunday morning & continued to go off until I came downstairs & asked if there was a real fire. Apparently caused by impact of wind!! If I hadn't recently had a spinal op & couldn't drive the next day I would have left after first night.

The hall was spectacular, Debbie & Thomas looked after us, they were welcoming. The rooms we stayed in were beyond our expectations. The grounds are well kept, and the location was perfect, on the same grounds of the national racing college.

I've had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rossington Hall. The room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and the level of service exceptional. The en suite meant that I could take a relaxing bath after a long day of travelling. Delicious food as well. Definitely worth a visit!

We have had a wonderful time. The house has been restored with passion and commitment! The rooms are gorgeously decorated and furnished. A querky and unique house. Loved this. Stunning views. Pure escapism. A proper adventure. Wonderful service! Thank you!

A family funeral wake was arranged in the beautiful Rossington Hall in the ballroom. Debbie and all the staff provided a super experience for everyone who attended. The ambiance and food provided was lovely. All the staff were wonderful too, so helpful and considerate. Under the circumstances a lovely time was had by all!
