房間面積不小,乾淨整潔,浴室條件很好,床很舒服。不足之處是暖氣一般,晚上有點冷,需要蓋厚被子。此外沒有電梯,攜帶行李不便。

This is a fabulous place! Terry, the owner was great! Martina was helpful and gave lots of information about the neighborhood and places to eat. The bus stop is a quick 3 min walk from the house. The bed was comfy, and the room was lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. They went above and beyond to be great hosts.

My experience at Donnybrook Hall was wonderful! My double room was more than adequate with an updated private bathroom. Enough hangers in wardrobe for my 8 night stay. Comfy bed, warm room (with the nice option to crack open a window) for my December stay. TV also included music channels, which was nice, Coffee/tea/biscuit/choc croissant in room daily. The staff was hospitable from checkin to my departure, Encountered a friendly face to ask about needing help every morning and night. Daily housekeeping was reliable and trustworthy. Defiantly a family operation! The neighborhood is great. There is a row of shops that include an upscale market, a bakery/coffee shop, Tesco, a pub with a restaurant and another restaurant. A fast food place serving really good fish and chips is open late along with another fast food place. There is a bus stop near the hotel, city center is about a 20 min ride by bus. I used taxis (easy pickup area in front of hotel) and safely walked into town many times. A taxi to temple bar was about 15-20 euros, a 50 min walk. This is a good option for a nice, quiet stay. A great value for the room and resourcefulness of the staff. Would defiantly recommend and revisit Donnybrook Hall!

My only regret is that we didn’t stay here longer! The location is perfect, the accommodation is lovely, clean, new, comfortably welcoming... perfect! We had two rooms in the back off of the sun room/ dining room and they were charming. Our host was so nice and we were able to meet her dad the next morning on our way out. The neighborhood is fantastic, there are a few restaurants/pubs and shops within walking distance and a bus if you wish to go to City Center instead of the 15 minute walk. I can’t wait to visit here again, in 2020!! ***UPDATE well we all know what happened in 2020 hence we finally made it back in 2023. This time we were able to stay for 3 nights and I’m so glad we did!! We attended events at Energia Park and Aviva Stadium which we both an easy walk from Donnybrook Hall. We walked into City Center, it was maybe 25-30 minute walk. Leaving City Center we took the DART from Tara and Pearse stations to the Landsdowne Rd station which is about a 10-15 minute walk from Donnybrook Hall. Nothing has changed, still the perfect location and the hospitality is superb. I honestly can’t wait to come back and stay here again!
Response from Property: Hi Kimberly and Patrick, Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to welcome you both back to Donnybrook Hall, were delighted you enjoyed our hospitality and it’s always a big compliment to welcome guests back to stay with us again. We look forward to your third visit. Very best wishes Debbie

The location is ideal - the airport coach stops at the end of the road, although I chose to travel by local bus and use my Visitor Leap Card (a great bargain, if you are travelling around Dublin). Buses into the city centre are very frequent, although it's also a pleasant walk and Donnybrook itself is a pleasant area. The room was comfortable and spotless, looking out over a quiet road. Tina and Terry were friendly and very helpful. They took the Covid requirements seriously, although restrictions have now largely lifted. The only pity was that breakfasts are currently not available because of the pandemic. However, there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a Tesco Express 2 minutes away, as well as plenty of cafes nearby. And the cost of the stay was very reasonable for Dublin. I would come back like a shot and recommend it highly!

Extremely well run and friendly hotel in Donnybrook, I was impressed with the location, the room, the welcome greeting and the goodbye chat with the owner. I was attending an Expo at the RDS and it was a very pleasant 15 minute walk away, through Herbert Park.. On arrival, the young lady sat in the lounge with me, made me a cup of tea and went through the local spots and places to see and to go to eat. I don’t think I have ever had such a friendly greeting ! I spent a pleasant evening in Donnybrook and had a peaceful night’s sleep in my lovely comfortable room (see video). In the morning as I was leaving, Terry the owner asked after my sleep and a nice chat ensued before I strolled to the Aircoach stop a few minutes away. Great experience
Response from Property: We would like to thank you for the review you left us. Glad you got to explore the area plenty as well.

I lived for almost 7 years in Dublin so when I decided to visit back the city for a long weekend I knew I wanted to be close to the city centre but also close to Ranelagh (the best hood for me) Donnybrook Hall is like a typical Irish house with all the facilities you need. A variety of bus stops around the corner, even the one who bring you straigh to the airport. The place itself is very clean, quiet, kettle, hairdryer, towels, wifi are provided in the room. They let you keep your suitcase after the check out for the day your travel back. The owner and the lady are very friendly always willing to help you. I highly recommend this place, it has been the best decision I took. Just remember bring your adapter for the plugs!!
Response from Property: Hi Beatriz, Thank you so much for a wonderful review. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us and hope to see you on your next trip back to Dublin. Best wishes Terry

Quiet Bed & Breakfast on main bus line 20 minutes to downtown, so the location is perfect. Spent 30 days here while visiting my kids at UCD, extremely satisfied with their high standards of cleanliness , their helpfulness and their friendliness. Highly recommend

A very enjoyable stay, I was welcomed with tea and biscuits on my arrival and made to feel at home. A lovely room with a comfortable bed and modern en-suite, a little out of town but easy to get in and out of Dublin on the numerous busses just at the end of the road. Genuine, lovely people, it was my pleasure to have stayed there

As a solo traveller and It being my first ever visit to Dublin, Terry and Martina at The Donnybrook Guesthouse made me feel very welcome, comfortable, well informed and safe. Their customer service was perfect and they went the extra mile, when the didn't necessarily have to. If/When I visit Dublin in the future, I know where I'll be staying and that's back at the lovely Donnybrook Guesthouse. Thank you so much. Robert.

Admittedly, I was skeptical; the accommodation seemed far away from the city center. But far from it. Donnybrook Hall is very accessible to the public, even late in the evening. However, if you follow the staff's tips, you should head towards Leeson Street. There is one of Dublin's most beautiful parks: Saint Stephen Green Park. The welcome was warm, even if I had to get used to the Irish accent of the English language. All employees are extremely competent and friendly. I got several great tips. Luckily for me, I followed all the advice. The rooms are typical British standards, small and very cute. Comfortable beds and of course non-smoking rooms. There are enough sockets available. The bathrooms are absolutely amazing: I've planned a lot of bathrooms myself, but I couldn't have planned it better. Shower cubicles of the highest quality, just like the fittings, the only thing I keep seeing in English-speaking countries are the toilets with attached cisterns. Due to the structure of the building and the thin walls, flush-mounted installation would only have been possible with front-wall installation. In the shower you will find a thermostat and not a single lever mixer like in most hotels. The structure of the house is good and, in keeping with the island style, it looks British-Irish from the outside. The same applies to the immediate surroundings. The yellow front door surprised me a little at first, but now I think it looks great. Unfortunately, I didn't book breakfast based on the reviews. You get a front door key and don't have to ring the bell for long. Planning to come to Dublin with a tour group next year. Preferably to Donnybrook Hall.
