I enjoyed staying there the staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast isn't really much to talk about it's usually a muffin and coffee some granola bars instant oatmeal hot cocoa tea stuff like that. The one complaint that I do have is that their fax machine did not work and I needed to fax a lot of items out. The staff at the front desk was very helpful very pleasant had a great attitude the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job I enjoyed their company when they were in the room they dusted and vacuumed and mop my floors changed my bed I thought they were wonderful people the guy that came and collect the trash and picked up the parking lot always had a smile on their face and a good thing to say

Very good, you can park for free, it is more suitable for people who rent a car. The room was changed by a triple room, a bit strange, the rest is fine. Breakfast is available for an additional charge.

Unfortunately our stay here wasn’t as pleasant as I wished. When my family arrived in our room, the smell of synthetic scent spray was overpowering. When we went into the bathroom there was a pungent smell of cigarette smoke as well as a subtle smell of it in our bedroom. The vent in the bathroom wasn’t working to try to dispel some of the smell. It was obvious house keeping sprayed ton of scent spray to attempt to mask the smell. We tried to see if there was another one bedroom option, but told us there were none available. They also offered to spray the room again or carpet clean, but I didn’t want the risk of my toddler inhaling even more of those strong chemicals on top of the strong scent spray and smoke residue that already lingered in the room. Also, not to mention there was barely enough toilet paper to last for our 3 night stay. Another issue was that our room was right next to the door to the stairwell which was extremely loud. It woke me up several times throughout the night and early morning from people constantly opening and closing that door. In fact, I just heard it a handful of times while writing this review. Honestly, I have had a better stay at a Motel 6 than at this Residence Inn location.

It is a fairly new hotel located next door the the Eagan Outlet mall . shop till you drop . about 10 minutes south of MOA and the airport . there is a bus that takes you to MOA. or hotel has a shuttle van . Rooms are very nice have a full kitchen , studio suite . Nice pool area and BBQ for your use. nice outdoor patio area and front lobby area . but no hot tub , my only disappointment . nice breakfast area , i just wish they had real eggs instead of those sausage and egg muffin sandwiches . limited dining choices by the hotel but your only 10 minutes away from MOA and lots of dining choices . TGIF Fridays by the mall or Chevy's Mexican restaurant. are excellent choices . I would stay there again , watch for a good room rate

Booked a room at HI express Eagan because it's convenient to the Mall of America, and convenient to Park and Ride in Burnsville to take the bus going downtown to U S Bank Stadium. Had a room with king size bed which we loved, lots of storage, and large shower. Room has fridge and microwave both. Bed was very comfy, and temperature of the room was easy to adjust. Elevators great - fastest we've ever found. We enjoyed the breakfast, but it was not as good as HI ' s have been in the past. No pancakes or waffles, and I really wish there was salsa to put on the eggs. But they did have cereal, bagels, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs and sausage. So still a good selection. And of course unlimited free coffee. We were not in our room very much since we were running around shopping and eating out, but would have liked more premium channel options with the TV. And the internet did not work with my Ipad in the room so had to use the lobby computer. There is a little restaurant directly across the street which was great for a late night cocktail and appetizer, and there is a nice running trail along Yankee Doodle Road for morning workout. Will definitely stay here again because it's just ten minutes to MOA and ten minutes to the parking ramp to grab the bus to Vikings game.
