Tawas Bay Beach Resort & Conference Center Reviews

We love it here. This is our go to hotel in Tawas. Great pool and hot tub and right on a beautiful beach.

Beachfront view was excellent. Very loud arguementive neighbors yelling in the hallway at 1:26 AM, not so much.

Overall it is OK. But the lady at the desk this morning was not friendly and very bad additued. I ask for a receipt and she was like why do you want it…. Been here many times but I think they need to improve the reception.

Disappointed in what i thought it was verse what we pay for. Pool closed and no breakfast

The bed was wrapped in plastic. The bedding had no comforter. 2 sheets and a thin blanket.

Very nice place to stay as it was last minute. When we checked in we were told the pool is kept at 85 degrees but when we tried to use it we barely could put our feet in it was so cold. The nice lady behind the counter immediately went and adjusted the temp on the pool when I said something to her. The next morning the pool was warmer but the room itself was freezing. Other then that the hotel is very nice and we most likely will come back again.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and absolutely would recommend staying in the king rooms the one we got absolutely amazing

I specifically chose a bayside room for scenery and quiet. Somehow the reservation was changed to city side. Totally unacceptable but the resort would not change it. I put this on *******.

Property is in need of a remodel. It is getting very old and outdated looking. It is not in good physical condition. A continental breakfast should be offered.

When we arrived the room they gave us was ice cold. It took a bit to warm up. They were accomodating by giving us an additional luggage rack. Later that day the toilet was plugged up and when we called they told us to come to the front desk and get the plunger. Who does that? We got it and it was so cheap that it didn't work. We had to go through the rest of the evening with a clogged toilet. Ugh!! Thenext morning when we went back to the front desk and told them it was clogged they said Maintenance was there and will come up and unclog the toilet, which they did. It was very uncomfortable through the evening before. Easy check out. We would never stay there again or suggest anyone else does.

Very nice place to stay. Staff was very friendly. Great restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

It is always a great experience. Close to town and nice 5o stay in and enjoy the entertainment

We stay here whenever we are in the area. I love walking the state park and am an avid birder. Having a restaurant /bar on the property is a bonus.

We only stayed overnight so can only speak to the room. It was clean and smelled freshly painted. Pillows could have been better quality but overall we slept well. Pleasant overnight stay.
