Travelodge Edinburgh Park Reviews

There is no free internet available, you need to purchase it for 3 pounds a day for two devices. It is a 12-minute walk from the train station and a ten-minute train ride to the center of Edinburgh. There is no hairdryer in the room. You can borrow it from the front desk or store your luggage. The hotel staff is friendly.

I had stayed at good and bad Travelodges before this trip so didn't have very high expectations but we had a lovely stay. The staff were really welcoming and our room was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was tasty though a little expensive.

We stayed here on Friday 7th June as we were attending the Taylor Swift concert at Murrayfield. With early check in and late checkout, we were able to have the room from 12pm on Friday until 2pm on Saturday, which was excellent and meant we had time to get back after the concert and sit up for a few hours without worrying about having to be up and out the next morning. We had room 2 which is on the ground floor. Very clean and the window was left open so we had a nice breeze coming in and the room smelled fresh. We were particularly impressed with the plug and USB sockets beside the beds - big, posh places don't always do this but Travel Lodge does. Super convenient! We had booked a family room as there was two of us and there weren't any twin rooms listed. This is the only hotel where I've stayed in a room designed for three people that had three coffee mugs beside the kettle, it was a really nice touch - another very basic thing that you don't necessarily think of. We didn't have much interaction with the staff but those we did speak to were very warm, welcoming and informative. I would definitely return to this Travel Lodge and hopefully give their restaurant area a shot next time!

We needed a place to spend the night before our international flight and this hotel fit the requirements just fine. Make sure you find out exactly how to use public transportation to get to the airport before you actually need it.

The room was clean and quiet. Easy check in. Comfortable bed. Close to the airport. I would stay here again.

I checked in early evening. The staff member of reception was polite and efficient. After getting directions, I headed to my room. Being a modern Travelodge, the room was great, clean, plenty of sockets, etc... I went out in the evening so can't comment on the food choice for dinner. Now for breakfast.... a polar opposite of my earlier experience. The re option desk was unmanned and I saw no staff members. I stood by the large sign about being seated for breakfast. Still no staff members. Eventually, I called the number I saw on the reception desk, the woman who answered said she'd be with me shortly. When she arrived it was clearly my fault. Her tone and attitude were appalling. I could have spoken with the other staff member, I told her I hadn't seen anyone. I could have knocked on the kitchen door, etc. At this point a staff member came out of the kitchen and she was duly pointed out to me. I told the receptionist that in the ten minutes I'd waited, this was tge first I'd seen of her, I was then told that maybe I didn't see her..... hard, given the open plan room. This is not a football stadium. I paid for my breakfast and let her be. As for breakfast, guys, the coffee is appalling, the bacon, well, if the hotel business is poor, sell the bacon to cobblers for show repairs.... My feeling on my stay, the rooms are okay but the staff and food need some serious work

Good place to get a sound sleep for an early morning flight. An uber cost around 11 quids, hotel is a short drive from the airport. Variety of food choices at the bar menu. Room was quite, well lit, has ac and a heater. Bathroom and room were kept clean. Overall a lovely stay

We stayed here for the Edinburgh marathon and it was easy to get too, lovely facilities, helpful staff, abundance of teas and coffees, good sized carpark and food onsite and next door

From moment we walked in, was greeted with a smile and friendly reception. Rooms were lovely and to a clean standard. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Bathroom facilities spot on and clean and we had x2 comfy nights sleep. Bar was good touch too

Whilst staying here I asked for my room to be cleaned. That consisted of a new pile of towels on my bed. They didnt make the bed empty the bin or lift the dirty towels. I will say the overall hotel is clean and modern though. Now dinner if your in a rush this isn't the hotel for you 1h 20 mins to bring out dinner (main) whilst there was only 4 people in the restaurant then another 40 mins to bring out dessert. 1 member of staff in kitchen and he also brings food out and waits tables. So it's not his fault. Breakfast is good and the hotel is generally comfortable but the service is absolutely shocking. Ps you need to pay for WiFi it's not included in room rate and even then you'd be better using 4g as its very slow. Definitely won't be back and will be telling my other colleagues the same.

Was checked in by Stephen, very smooth process, informative for my first time stopping here. Location was easy to get to by taxi from Edinburgh Park but could have also taken a 15 min walk from the station. Venue seemed clean and appropriate for my business trip. Thank you!

This hotel is very modern and clean; parking is free and there are two entrances to the hotel which is helpful.The room and bathroom were clean,bed was very comfortable, plenty of refreshments in the room, and breakfast filled a gap.

Had 2 friends up from wales for 3 nights over the weekend. Hotel spotlessly clean , good choice of food and beverage and good secure parking at back of hotel. This is a travelodge+ and meets and exceeds what it should offer . Special thanks to Paige & all her team for making they're stay comfortable & nothing was too much trouble throughout the stay .
