Ikos Andalusia

We have just returned from Ikos Andalucia. I will start at the beginning. When we arrived a little after six in the evening, we were received very poorly. Virtually nothing was explained and we didn't know where to go at all. We had to figure everything out for ourselves. The first evening we had dinner at Beach Club. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here and we enjoyed our first evening. Furthermore, we went to the bar for a while. The main bar is rather small considering the number of people in the bar. The cocktails are not special and are very sweet and no quality fresh produce used at all. Arrived at the room: no warm welcome with a bottle and a snack. Totally nothing in the room. Very sad for a hotel 5 star deluxe. Also never experienced before. Our room was very small. We had a superior seaview. We had room 1313. We had absolutely no place to put our suitcase. There were also dirty chairs (photos can be supplied), stubborn spots on the terrace and a place to put something was completely stained with big black streaks. There was also a very pungent sewer smell in the room during our stay and a very dull mouldy smell in the shower. Dissatisfaction was reported to you as early as the beginning of the stay but all you offered us was 1 night in a higher room type: the last night when we had to pack our bags. We were completely ignored. Further, I had asked to get cola zero deca and Nespresso deca in the room for health reasons, but after 1 day, this was not spontaneously delivered to the room. Furthermore, we never received large bath towels during our 6-day stay and I had to ask for flannels to be brought to the room daily. Regarding reservations in the a-la-carte restaurants, I would like to point out that it is not normal that you absolutely cannot deviate from the original reservations. Result: ended up in the buffet restaurant almost all evenings due to absolutely no flexibility from the hotel. Furthermore, the entertainment and evening entertainment was below par for a hotel of such a category. Entertainment like White Night below par. Experienced White Night earlier this year at Ikos Olivia and there they did pay due attention to the event and it was a really fun experience for the whole family. The last afternoon went to eat at Fresco. I had a sole with fries there. A Mac Donalds menu looks more appetising. Again, photos can be supplied. Requested certain wine on the wine list and no longer available. Then a hot bottle of wine was offered as an alternative. Furthermore, I would like to raise the issue of the beach. This is totally unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Absolutely nothing has been done about the state of the beach. As a final point, I would like to let you know that all the info on the app is out of date. Furthermore, I got a very harsh impression that these were the last days. We have just returned from a one week stay at Ikos Andalucia - our third trip to the resort and somehow even better than the last! The staff as usual were absolutely amazing across the resort - in particular Dionisis attention to detail, organisation and welcoming manner really made our trip very special and stand out! Thank you and look forward to returning.

I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Everything was exceptional - the food was AMAZING and by far the best I’ve ever had at any all inclusive. The service was incredible, nothing was too much trouble and they are SO accommodating to young families. We asked for milk in our room for our 18 month old and fresh milk was brought every evening. They just make being there with a toddler so easy and they think of everything. The kids pool is FANTASTIC and the splash area is brilliant too. We spent pretty much all day every day there. The staff around the pool, particularly Javier, were absolutely fantastic. They even have a sunglasses cleaning service which they come round the pool to do every day.. I have never returned to the same hotel twice but we will 100% be back - we have fallen for the IKOS charm. Ive stayed in a lot of hotels and things going to take some beating. It’s incredible. This is your sign to book it now - you won’t regret it!!

I could not rate this place enough. It was our first family holiday abroad and we was a little worried. We were blown away, the service was outstanding, around the pool, the bars and restaurants. Food was 5 star, staff were so attentive and the kids club were excellent our little girl misses it already. She loved all the kids club staff the ladies were friendly, thoughtful and nothing was ever too much. Despina was the best our little girl loved her and always asking where she was to say hello. Thank you Ikos and we will be booking again.

Amazing trip for the family. The room was perfect, there were an huge choice of amazing pools and restaurants. And of course the BEST kids ever!! Massive thanks to Eleni and her team who were amazing. The kids (and us!) had the best time and was everything we wanted it to be. Kids already asking to go back (and we really hope to!)

We have just returned from a weeks stay and we are not disappointed, the private transfer to the hotel is great saves having to wait for others. Fab restaurants especially the dine out option a really nice experience off the complex. Rooms are a fab size lovely and clean. The drink choice is endless. A special shout out goes to Jarka in the main bar she was so professional hard working and friendly a real asset to your team and management should look after her.

2nd time been here .was there last September. Amazing place, exceptional staff in particular josh(right adult pool), Alicia(anaya restaurant) dimitris (fresco restaurant) and antonia(oliva restaurant) .ultra efficient set up, staff can't do enough and are so polite and obliging, rooms and beds so comfortable ,great fitness choices. Can't fault it .will definitely be going back again

Fantastic resort very attentive and hardworking staff everywhere especially Sylvia on deluxe breakfast cover who was outstanding. A huge thanks to Dennis and Marinos who went out of their way to make our holiday very special indeed and we will definitely be returning to Ikos again.
