Fargo Inn and Suites Reviews

First thing we got when entering the room is a strong terrible, uncomfortable smell that I cannot even explain what it was. We asked to move to a different room but they were fully booked as there was a tournament that weekend, they offered febreze which was of minimal help. The microwave was a nigh**are, turn it on and it turns off in about 30 / 45 seconds as the outlet connecting was supposedly overloaded. So we had to keep turning back on the switch from the outlet behind the heavy table. To just warm up a cup of milk for the kids, we at least turned it back on maybe 5 times. Breakfast was ok other than the pancake maker not working, staff said it's been having problems so they should have fixed it. Never had such hotel experience like this before. I really felt our money went to waste, it was not worth a penny.

The hotel is older but they continue to do Reno’s in fact when we were there for the Feb. 18th long weekend they were applying a fresh coat of paint to the hallways. The team they have hired are a very conscientious group. The hotel was quiet and couldn’t hear a thing from the other rooms. Their breakfast has good options. It would be nice if they could add some fresh fruit to their breakfast. Otherwise we would go back to this hotel

The room smelled like what some people do after smoking when the spray Febreeze all over the place. I couldn't be in the room. The bathroom was dirty too. I couldn't even stay in the room more than 15 minutes due to the odors. When I complained, staff was friendly, but helpless. I ended up not staying. I just drove through the night back to my home.

I had asked for an accessible room. I have a lot of medical problems. No elevator. Was by myself

For being a ghetto hotel, they charged my card 250 bucks on a prepaid room. Even the residence inn only charges about $1.36 deposit upfront. Its been 2 weeks and is still not on my account.

Bed linen was flirty & staff brought new linen but left it to us to make the beds. No apology or bother to look. Loud & day workers made it unsafe. Dirty all the way around. Horrible experience

Contrary to the reviews, my room was clean, well stocked.front desk gals were pleasant and hot breakfast was great.

The room was very nice, spacious & clean. Having The Box on the property was nice since it was a -40 wind chill outside. Didn't want to travel around. Staff was super nice helping me get equipment back to my Uber after helping me jump my car. This place was excellent & I know I'll stay there again!

Currently doing Reno’s so not quite as nice as I’m sure it will be once completed

The room was not as clean as it ought to be. Dust on the side tables, cobwebs on the ceiling and a drop of blood on the pillow case

Cleanliness seemed okay, at least for a hotel, but there was a big splatter of somethinf on the ceiling. Someone else chose this hotel for me, but I did not realize there was not an elevator and they could not get me on the first floor. This made it difficult for me when alone with my two small children when I could not use a stroller.

when we showed up it seemed like we were sent to a "leftover room" rather than a reserved room. The gal said "let me go check on room 152" and then called back to tell the gal it was ok to check us in. Mind you this was way after check in time so it should have been ready regardless. There were grills out in the parking lot like people just camp out there and there were people smoking cigarettes & **** RIGHT OUTSIDE the doors. At one point when we went to shower there was black crap that had came up from the drain which we believe was caused by the people above us showering and causing it to back up because it was "clean" when we first checked in. Very sketchy area and I wouldn't recommend staying there at all.

Easy to find hotel. Reception was great and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Floors were not very clean, especially bathroom corners.

Front desk clerks were awesome, breakfast was good and my room was great. I would stay there again.
