I came back to Anata Riad, and it s always with great pleasure that I spend time with the owner Valerie, who is always willing to open all her best tips about Fez: from the best massage in town to the best restaurants/cafe to eat, it always add a plus to my experience in this magical city. What I love about the place, is also the delicious food cooked by the chef Hassania. The Riad is a perfect stay for a visit to Fes. The rooms are very trendy, staff is very friendly and you get a lo of very useful tips of what to do and activities from the owner Valerie. The breakfast is served on the rooftop with a big variety of choices and you have a beautiful view of the rest of the city!

What a kings breakfast! The room was beyond my expectations, well furnished, sleek and extremely clean. Amazing service, Driss helped us plan our days and made sure we would not get lost, and pre packed breakfast for our early check out. I wouldn't stay elsewhere in Fes!

Excellent location, and very friendly and helpful staff. Super cooking course with Samira! We ate the best food in Fes by far with her. Super breakfast, too. there is a cosy rooftop terrace which would have been great for siesta and sunbathing, but the weather was not good this time for that.

Cooking class was outstanding, a truly unique and memorable hands-on and mouth-on experience. Would highly recommend it. From the market, to the preparation, to the eating and to the view -- perfection. Thank you so much and all my best wishes.

I spent 5 fabulous days at Riad Anata. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the meals are delicious and generous. The rooms are very nicely decorated, by color theme, clean and comfortable. Last but not least, the riad is also very well located. I highly recommend Riad Anata.

The riad was centrally located in the old town in Fes. The staff were very responsive and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. They offer a cooking class we wish we had taken advantage of as it looked like a lot of fun. The morning breakfast included in the stay was filling and fresh.

Riad Anata is very nice at first blush. Only 5 rooms so a most boutique location. Took some asking and understanding but we finally established breakfast is on the roof top. Our understanding is they can serve a dinner but no menu, just whatever Moroccan dish they make. AND they had a beer for us. Hooray! Our dry period has ended, but alas, the beer was warm ☹️ We subsequently learn that evening they were conducting a cooking class for some external people so we as paying guests were not able to have a meal on site as told by a man we hadn’t spoken to and didn’t introduce himself. Must say, not the most polite people here. Onto the room… Bed very comfortable, air con works well on full wack, a bit of street noise as our room was right along the street so needed to close up all windows for some quiet. But… Shower screen too narrow and shower floor doesn’t drain to the waste so water flows out of bathroom to room. Shower drain isn’t clearing correctly and an odour is emanating. All reported to staff. Security safe not attached so pointless. Full thickness doona and no sheet in 37 degree day, vanity basin tap falls off. Rooms look amazing but the Riad lacks functionality. So so so many options in Fes, I would try something else.

We had a fantastic time at Riad Anata. The hospitality, decor and ambience of the Riad made our stay really special. The small nature of the Riad made it feel like a home away from home and Said, one of the team was particularly attentive. Said would always go the extra mile, his perceptive attitude and calm demeanour made our return to the Riad after long excursions something to look forward to. We really recommend you have dinner at the Riad, the lamb and prune tajine was delicious. The location is great, just a short walk from all the main attractions in the medina.

Traveling with 19yr old grandson. Loved the common space and dining at the Riad. Rooftop local cuisine was a special treat. The cooking class was a highlight P Close to the Medina and local shopping.

I loved Riad Anata. It was a very special discovery for me given the way I stumbled upon this space. One afternoon I was in search of Riads in Fez and suddenly I started hearing a voice coming from an open tab on my computer. That voice captured all my attention. I had arrived at the website of Riad Anata, which in Sanskrit means "energy from the heart". I usually love intimate, cozy, designer accommodations and this Riad not only meets all of these characteristics but exceeds them. It has a wonderful courtyard that you want to photograph from all angles because of how beautiful it is, a rest area in the same courtyard full of books to relax for a while, 5 super nice decorated rooms with the most comfortable pillows and mattresses in the world and a wonderful terrace with hammocks area where breakfast is served daily. The Riad team is another level. Warm, attentive and very friendly. They will help you with everything you need during your stay and even give you a tip or two about the Medina. By the way, in your room you will find a travel booklet with Valerie's personal tips and recommendations about Fes. I loved this detail. The booklet is full of little gems that you won't find in the usual guidebooks. If I go back to Fes I will surely repeat in this accommodation. I think that in this city there is perhaps a little bit of a more ornate type of Riad than what I usually like in terms of decoration. That's why I was delighted to find Riad Anata, because it fits perfectly to my favorite style. The bathrooms in the room are wonderful. I asked to be shown the rest of the rooms in the Riad one morning when they were being cleaned. None of them are better. They really are all beautiful and the feeling is super cozy in them. Highly recommended Riad in a city that surprised me very positively. Thanks to all the Riad team for a wonderful stay. I will come back and try the cooking classes that I did not have time to try this time because of everything I wanted to see in the Medina!

The team at Riad Anata were incredibly lovely and helpful in every way. The Riad itself is beautiful, the room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Everything was brilliant - highly recommend this Riad and would come back again when revisiting Fes.

We had a wonderful two days at Riad Anata. The riad is beautifully designed and is in a great location. The staff (Mohammed and Sayid) were outstanding, always helpful and extremely kind. The food, prepared by chef Sameera, was the best we had in Morocco.

We chose Riad Anata due to its size (smaller) and provision of a cookery course. The rooms were perfect and well equipped. The rooftop terrace provided a view over the Medina towards the mountains in the distance. The central area was a peaceful and calm place to relax and read. However, of equal importance were the caring and attentive staff. Welcoming and friendly.
