Santa Maria Novella
I especially enjoy the coffee corner in the common zone. It is clean and comfortable with nice shampoo and conditioners provided. Overall experience is great except for the location as it’s a bit far from train station and it’s a bit inconvenient for us with large luggage. The heater of the shower sometimes work slowly. It’ll be cold for customers living in winter. It’s 9min walk to Mercato Centrale Firenze which u can try Il Bollito e lo Stracotto di Giacomo Trapani

Firstly, I thank the hotel for having arranged my late check-in because I arrived about two hours in the morning while there is no reception after 19:30. The hotel is located on a large car artery, but the walls are thick and the inside is nothing to hear. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable, and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Comfortable room, litter ok, rather dark light, very basic. In my room there was a few steps down to get to bed, and a few steps up to get to the bathroom, which was throwing some unpleasant smells (good cover with the box the water evacuation hole from the shower, The hotel was very closed and I had a stick on the window. I didn't take breakfast, but in the morning I crossed no one to the dining room at the reception. I went as I came, putting the keys back in code boxes, closed behind me, without having been able to pay the stay fee. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable, and it was not very comfortable, and it was not very fun.

Hotel service is not bad. Go to the saved package in advance. The room has two bottles of water every day and a variety of shower gels. The tub is great and great, which is the most satisfying. The atmosphere is not bad, breakfast is good, there are English newspapers. Insufficient: The dust in the room is a bit too much. Then there is dust in the water in the machine that burns water, so there is no water to drink. There is no English channel on the TV and I don't understand it at all. The front desk staff is really great! ! English is not bad! ! Close to Freedom Square and walk for ten minutes to the city centre. Basically, it is not very convenient to use a car because the city is small and there is no need to take a bus.

Initially we found Palazzo San Lorenzo a little off the beaten track and that the residential nature of the neighborhood meant there were few adjacent restaurants however as our time in Florence evolved we found the peaceful and calm atmosphere a welcome respite from the crowds and intensely busy atmosphere of central Florence. Everyone was very gracious, the spaces were very tasteful and relaxing, the garden a delight and breakfast was delicious. The service was attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend Palazzo Scan Lorenzo but be prepared for the added expense of taxis to and from central Florence. ( around 10 Euro each way ).

We had a lovely stay at Lorena Suites. The staff were so friendly and helpful despite my embarrassing lack of Italian. Our room was large and beautifully decorated with plenty of places to store our items. It was clean with an excellent cold shower - just what you need after exploring all day in 40 degree heat! Air conditioning was also very welcome as was the well stocked mini bar - this felt reasonably priced in comparison with local shops and provided a few local Italian aperitivo as well. We had a balcony which offered an excellent view of the sunset over the tuscan countryside. When we arrived and realised we were on the 5th floor, I was very grateful to note there was a lift available to take us and our bags up. Lorena is roughly 20 minutes walk from the duomo but you aren’t too far from other points of interest. We spent €10 in a taxi to get there from Santa Maria Novella station and it was €18 to get back and the host was very helpful in arranging this taxi back for us. When we arrived, the taxi driver pointed out a restaurant on the corner (out of the gates and turn left) which he said offered the best bistecca in Florence. We were dubious but tried anyway and it was incredible - if you want authentic Italian cuisine and company would highly recommend skipping the walk back into the busier areas and going here instead. It is worth noting that some of the rooms face onto quite a busy main road. While this was not an issue at night, in the morning this was quite loud from early on - best to make sure the shutters are fully closed as we found this (plus a couple of bottle of chianti Classico) made for a peaceful lie in. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Lorena Suites, all was fantastic and we cannot wait to find an excuse to come back and visit!

It seems that I am the first to make a comment, so please make a serious comment~ I booked a suite on Ctrip, but from the booking picture, the hotel gave me not a suite, it should be regarded as a deluxe double room. However, because the grandmother at the front desk was so kind and enthusiastic to tell us the location of the traffic spots in Florence, we didn't bother to mention the suite. After all, Ctrip didn't provide a picture and the price was cheap. First of all, this location is quite far away from the railway station, and you have to take a taxi. The taxi in Florence is very expensive and expensive. I took a taxi from the railway station for 16 euros. You can walk to various attractions, but it is quite far away and acceptable. If it is convenient, don't choose here. I struggled with this hotel for a long time. I was mainly confused by the pictures of this hotel. I thought it was a boutique hotel with a special niche in a paradise. I was also attracted by the Ferragamo travel outfits written in the booking review! It is indeed a newly renovated and exquisite boutique hotel, but there was no Ferragamo shower shampoo when I went, and I happened to encounter an elevator failure, the bathroom door could not be closed, and the breakfast environment was quite good, but the category was a bit small, every day I don't know what to eat in the morning. But the flaws are not covered up, it's still pretty. But next time I come to Florence, I will not choose here, the taxi fare is too expensive!
