The couch in our room was really old but the room was clean and the staff super friendly. Close to everything!

We were only here for 1 night before a cruise. I guess it’s fine for just the night. But the pictures didn’t match the room. The couch in our room had dirty stains over the entire thing. Had a weird smell to it. Seemed just very dingy and dirty. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were only staying a night I would have left and gone somewhere else.

This hotel is showing its age. One elevator of two was out of service and the wait for the elevator was very long.
The biggest issue was at 1:30 am, there was very loud talking in the hallway, which turned out to be maintenance responding to a water leak a few doors down. Long story short, very loud with mitigation efforts and continued loud talking. No sleep, which is the most basic thing I am after in a hotel stay!
In talking with the front desk in the morning, they didn't offer anything for the inconvenience, and even seemed a little miffed that I even brought it up.

Not Hyatt usual quality - dark and dreary outdated rooms etc. no shuttles to or from airport or cruise terminal that were Hyatt owned.

The pool was closed. Only one elevator was working. We were visiting Florida in January and my children wanted to swim in the pool but we were not made aware of the closure until we got there.

Great staff. They were friendly and accommodating. Room was nice and comfortable, easily accessible to many stores and restaurants. The shuttle service from the airport and to Port Everglades was easy. It could not have been any better for us. I will gladly stay here again if the opportunity comes.

When making the reservation, was trying to get close to the port for a cruise.. Duh, not realizing since they were close they had shuttles to the port. That was a nice bonus! The place was very convenient to shopping and different restaurants. The down side was the pool was closed for repairs and the one out of two elevators was broken.

Bed very comfortable, shower excellent water pressure, good proximity to cruise port, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast,hotel decor circa 1960’s (time for an update)
