We returned to Madeira Gardens for the first time in 6 years for my Husband’s 60th Birthday.We had a fantastic Holiday, Paula on reception is a credit to the Hotel. She was so helpful, always had a smile on her face and was genuinely interested and happy to hear how your Holiday was going, she had a wealth of knowledge of the island 😀. We stayed on a half board package and the food was 5 star. So much choice and was very tasty. Could not fault a thing. The Hotel was very clean in all areas. We stayed on the 6th floor, our housekeeper was Tanya also was brilliant and cleaned our room so well. Was lovely seeing Jack again on the bar, he is also a credit to the Hotel. Thank you again for a fantastic Holiday for my Husband’s 60th, we definitely will not wait another 6 years to come back. Can not wait to return later this year.😀

Nice hotel , very clean and friendly , up a very steep hill so probably not good for people with mobility issues but there is plenty of taxis . Facilities really good , enjoyed the hot tub on the roof terrace and plenty of sunbeds . Only thing we were slightly let down with was when we booked we were advised to take our wedding certificate as it was our 25th wedding anniversary and we were told the hotel would look to upgrade our room . I mentioned it tithe receptionist when we booked in but she didn’t even pretend to look to see if anything was available, we did get a bottle of Prosecco which was very nice but just feel if your advertising something at least look like your trying to do it , and the hotel certainly did not look fully booked , but overall nice stay but just a little let down

Very nice hotel very clean about 4 streets up from front so be prepared to climb no good for anyone with any walking issues unless you get taxis and buses the email staff were all lovely from the waitresses to the cleaners but some of the older barmen I thought were quite rude and abrupt

Older age range of guests, adults only. Always plenty of sunbeds and shades as no reservations allowed, Drinks are expensive inside hotel and unless you remove it there is another 10% service charge, you cannot take drinks bought at hotel bars into the buffet restaurant! Pool too cold to use but indoor one available.

We have just returned from this lovely hotel, we have been visiting now for many years, once again we were not disappointed, as always wonderful staff in all areas, great food both at breakfast and evening dinner, lovely views from the rooftop, we cannot fault the hotel and will be returning later in the year.

Had a fabulous time at the Tui Blue Madeira. The staff were friendly and informative. The hotel had everything you could wish for. Our room was large with sea views and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfasts were excellent with so much choice. We ate at local restaurants in the evening so didn't have a chance to try the hotel restaurant. Although the hotel is on a very steep slope, taxis are plentiful and cheap and it was easy to walk to a restaurant and get a taxi back. Having a drink on the rooftop terrace is a must with panoramic views of the sea and Funchal and the staff there are brilliant. This was our first visit to Madeira and were so lucky to have chosen such an excellent hotel. We thoroughly recommend it.

This was our 3rd stay and it did not disappoint. We love the location and the friendly atmosphere. Ideally situated for exploring the lovely city of Funchal.

The TUI Blue Madeira Gardens in an adults only hotel within a 15 minutes walk to the centre of Funchal .It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay on the island . The staff are friendly and helpful .

Excellent hotel with excellent facilities. quiet despite its business, very nice friendly staff. I can thoroughly recommend it and would book to stay again at it if in Madeira again.
