Hotels near Higashiyama Shrine in Furano

I enjoyed my stay at La Vista Furano which provided good service, very decent room, complimentary and nice onsen (though not genuine hot spring water), free late night ramen, free car park, etc. we chose the eco package (no cleaning service) and it was a short stay of 3 nights only. They provided new towels every day as long as we put the used towels outside of the room at specific time every day. The only thing was they didn’t replenish the rubbish bin bag after we put the rubbish outside the room. They also didn’t replenish the bottled water daily. Hope that can be improved.

Stayed 2 nights. Corner room has a weird configurations. Room door opens into a long hallway facing the bathroom with a sink in the hallway and the bedroom off to the side via a door. The hotel is showing age but decently maintained as much as possible. The hardware seemed typical old style Japanese hotel. We had two rooms and somehow one room gets toiletry packs with coffee and another didn’t consistently. Breakfast and dinner buffet had decent spreads but nothing impressionable. No porter service was provided.

The hotel has its own red and white wine for welcome drink The room is very comfortable and comes with multiple charging cables There are many choices for breakfast, including a hot spring area and laundry room The only drawback is that it takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the parking lot.

Pros - 1) Convenient location close to many good eateries (Kumagera, Masaya, Sennari etc), a drugmart and a supermarket. 2) Free parking (30 lots). 3) Our room (777 - where they previously filmed a Korean drama) was spacious, clean and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. 4) Service was great even though English is a tad limited. Cons - 1) TV channels are predominantly in Japanese save for BBC and 1 Chinese channel.

We booked this futurwald furano ski hotel for its location. Also as it had hot spring baths for relaxing after skiing. The staff are all very nice, friendly and helpful! The nice lady behind the check in counter even booked my ski pass with discount. The only thing I could say they can improve on is better coffee, and organizing dinner and breakfast better . Maybe don't take as many bookings ? Other than that it's a perfect place to stay as they have warm drying room /ski lockers right out the front of the hotel ( across the road from the ”kitanomine ” F chair lift ) excellent 👌 if you want to access the whole furano ski resort.... Makes it easier to have a break back at hotel and not as busy as main ” shin furano prince hotel side ”. Yes overall good location, good for family or adults. The level 2 of hotel has areas to read or sip on a suntory whiskey after a good day in Furanos powder snow ❄️. I did note that the lifts in hotel get crowded but stairs are a great option if needed in a hurry. Thanks again konnichi wa OHIYO I will stay here again. . Thanks again.

The bathtub in the bathroom is also European and American, at least 160 cm in length, which is unique in ordinary hotels in Japan. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the room and bathroom. Recommendations: First, the hotel seems to have 3 names, but on the promotional materials obtained by Furano Station in JR, the information seems to be incomplete. It is recommended to display the comprehensive hotel name and other information as much as possible in the local promotional materials. When we asked how to get to the hotel, the station staff helped to check some time. Second, please ask the hotel to provide the route from JR Nakafulano Station and JR Nishimichi Station to the hotel on travel platforms such as the Trip.com website. In fact, JR Nishimichi Station is close to the hotel and you can see the hotel, but the trains parked at Nishimichi Station are limited; JR Nakafurano Station has a lot of parking, but it is a little farther from the hotel than the West. If more detailed information can be provided, it is convenient for guests to arrange the time to go to the hotel and the number of trains. Third, non-Japanese tenants and people who do not speak Japanese or English, it is best to download Google Maps and translation software, so that when encountering problems, it is easy to communicate and solve in time. Service: Youth travel does not need too much service, but the service attitude of the counter staff is very good, after the shift will see people will say hello, this is very good, the introduction is also very serious, will not be perfunctory because it is a foreigner, the service is good overall. Facilities: This time I stayed in a family triple room, there was their own space, the room was unexpectedly large, and there was room to spread out two suitcases (but I don't think it's possible to live for four people), the socket lights, etc. were all adequate, the bathroom had its own exclusive area available, using the room key, No need to rob the tenants in the Datong room, this is superb, the kitchen is on different floors, the kitchen is quite complete, you can make a big meal, the facilities are perfect. Meals: This youth hotel has no meals, so no comments. Overall evaluation: The parking lot is far away, and there are three-person rooms more expensive. In addition, there is no disadvantage. It is a very good youth travel. If you want to save money for travel, I think this youth hotel is definitely the first choice.

This is a private accommodation. It consists of a tatami room, an in-room, a living room and kitchen, and a bathroom (a separate bath and toilet room) yard. The interior is very large with a 30-pyeong feel, and a sliding door is installed for each space. There's a bathtub and a washing machine, and there's tableware, cooking tools, and air conditioning. Check-in arrives before 22 o'clock on the day and calls the host, and you will drive close to you within 5 minutes and check in in the living room. It seems that the couple manages it, and they speak very basic English, so it would be nice to memorize the Japanese that arrived by phone. Shampoo, body wash, towels, etc. are provided in the room as a basic, and if you need toothbrushes and toothpaste, you can ask for them. There is no WiFi, because it is in the countryside, the eggs (WiFi lunch boxes) prepared are also weak, but even if you go out a little on the main road, the radio will be very good, so there is no difficulty in operating the navigation system. Very quiet, clean and comfortable, very satisfied! Ninggu terrace, wind garden, Morinotoke cafe are very close. If you live here, you must go! Highly recommended!

The hotel is located across the road from Michi-no-Eki Minami Furano. Fairfield is an American roadside hotel chain, but the size and height of the bed in the room, the softness, the number of pillows, etc. are all American, and I felt like I was traveling abroad. The hotel does not have a restaurant, and the roadside station closes in the evening, so it may be a little inconvenient that there are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance. The main premise of the hotel is to use it by car or motorcycle. I couldn't find a nearby restaurant for breakfast, so everyone seemed to come to the hotel after buying bread. There was a free coffee machine in the hotel, and there was also an offer of instant miso soup. You can get a paper plate at the front desk, so it was surprisingly pleasant to eat the food we prepared on the outside deck. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful in helping with luggage. I think that it is a hotel where each person has their own way of enjoying. It was my first Fairfield in Japan, but I would like to stay at another Fairfield again.
