Best Spa Hotel in Gangneung-si

It was a nice, clean 4-star hotel. It had a partial sea view, so it had a sense of openness, and the VR game room among the auxiliary facilities on the first floor was fun. Geumjin Hot Springs was large and neatly maintained and easy to use, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no shared space for men and women like a sauna. I used room service and the food was delicious, but there was no separate dining table and I had to eat at a small tea table, so it was a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Geumjin Port is close to the hotel and the view is good. Breakfast was also good.

Seeking to spend a few days on the Korean Seaside, we booked on short notice 2 nights in an Oceanview Double at Seamarq. Overall, we had a wonderful, very relaxing time: we particularly enjoyed - the spacious, beautifully designed and functional room and lobby area, which truly provides a sense of space and an extension of the hotel space into the sea - the absolutely stunning 5th floor pools area, which was never really crowded and also stayed open despite some minor rain on our first day: comfortable sunbeds, generous opening hours (06:30 - 22:00, great) and good service by the mostly very young crew up here - the nice ocean side loungers, even though we still find it awkward that there is (at least officially) a 1.5 hour limitation to the use of the sunbeds (though at least during our stay this did not seem to have been enforced) - the piano player who brought a serene, peaceful atmostphere to the lobby every night, and the Lobby Bar with an excellent drinks, tea and small food selection - the thought-through room design, incl. the practical wet clothes hanger with clips to secure any item, and the Nespresso machine, tea pot etc. - the overall good selection and tastiness of the food at breakfast and at the buffet dinner (which we only joined once) To be among the very best hotels, Seamarq needs to fix a few things - the setup and food presentation of the breakfast / dining room is more reminding of a low-end, family vacation style: relatively crammed seating, presentation of the food buffet is without love (though the have a great choice - it's more how it's presented), and erratic service (e.g. on first morning nobody cleared used dishes from our breakfast table, while today this was done promptly every time...). - while there is a wonderful beach with the hotel's sun loungers, there are no beach towels available: this is the first time ever around the world we experienced this. Why not provide the same service as at the pool (where those are freely available)? - as others wrote, the elevator availability and waiting time is a real issue - with only 3 elevators that are also partly used by staff to deliver luggage wait times are often excessive. All these were not significantly spoiling our experience, and we would definitely be back here if staying in the area - though it would be easy for the hotel to improve on some of the items above. Overall a wonderful place to stay if in Gangneug, and wanting to be at (or better above :-) ) the sea

Visit to room 402 in mid-January There was an electric mat and electric heater. The heating was always on so I stayed warm. There was also an air conditioner. There is a microwave, highlight, spoon, knife, scissors, cutting board, ladle, tongs, pot, bowl, soju glass, mug, detergent, scrubber, toilet paper roll, and tissue box in the kitchen. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, disposable toothpaste, disposable soap, 4 towels, and a dryer. The jet spa is bigger than I thought. My husband and I can fit two people in it. Lights, bubbles, and massage functions are available. No bottled water, toothbrush, shower towel, hair dryer, wine glass, or wine opener. Located on the 2nd floor of the front desk You can see the ocean view and sunrise, but it is visible from the right side, not from the front. The lights are on at night. You can see the inside from the outside. If you are concerned, you should close the curtains. However, the window is dirty and there are power lines, so the picture does not come out pretty. Even if you hold the camera lens to the window, the shape of the lens is reflected, so the picture is not good. Appears in If you want a cost-effective trip, I would 100% visit again!!

Unlike the picture, there was a steel bed on the rooftop, and the bathtub kept leaking, so it took a long time to get water. It would have been nice to have a bathtub screen or curtain, but it was very disappointing. The sea view was barely visible because it was blocked by the building in front. The accessibility to the sea was poor. It was good

Gangneung Station is close and the location is satisfactory because the facilities around the hotel are good.The service was good and I was grateful for taking care of a lot of fixtures.However, it was not enough for a hotel.It was about the middle of the pension and motel.Still well I've been resting. I've seen the movie well with the beam project. The picture quality was not good.

So I often eaten in Gyeongpo and took a taxi. - Not bad, but overall a little poor 1. No quilt, just a very thin cloth on the mattress 2. I can't lie down watching TV (only a mat on the double floor TV is below) 3. The terrace is small and the door is not locked 4. Spa bathtub is good. But dust comes out. A little lack of hot water. Spa facilities but no robes. Towels were a bit wet - Good point. 1. It's quiet and not ocean view, but the sea is very close 2. The rooftop barbecue place was good 3. ok to take pictures 4.
