Book this hotel due to recommendation but found it extremely unacceptable compare to my normal travelling hotels. Upon arrival receptionist was unfriendly & business like. Size of the suites are big but too many steep stairs to climb to the bedroom not suitable for aged or handicap. Flooring was in bad condition most area in the sitting room area bulge up one can tripped easily if unaware, Hotel tried to cover up with foot mat but not helpful. We found the room spooky with dark antique furnitures which makes the room even darker & uncomfortable. Unfortunately I’ve paid for the 3 nights & hotel not willing to refund the 2 nights fee even if we had spent 1 night there. This hotel has great potential but needs to upgrade its current condition. Breakfast selection not great, we prefer to eat out although room rate includes breakfast.

It is all about heritage and antiques. The suite is big, the staff are very friendly, the library or lounging area with pool view is amazing. The environment are so calming..will stay here again.

Superb stay at seven terraces, everything was amazing from the moment we booked, the rooms are unique and decorated to the highest of standards, the building is stunning like staying in a museum. We had the privilege of attending a private dinner at the owners home which in itself was a veritable treat. Having stayed at the Blue Mansion also, I can honestly say this was the better of the two experiences

The best hotel ever had in penang!

Nanyang style, very exquisite furniture and decoration. The suite I stayed in is especially suitable for family travel. It happens to be during the Spring Festival, and they have a unique sense of ritual to worship Tiangong! Traveling is extremely convenient. The hotel is quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle! I stayed for two nights and didn't want to leave. I will stay again if I have the chance!

A Nanyang-style hotel with a Nyonya restaurant on the first floor. It’s a good choice to experience the Malay style. Facilities: The room is very large and the details are very nice. There is a small breeze from the balcony at night, which is very comfortable. Duplex rooms are also arranged on the second floor. Service: During the Spring Festival, we specially arrange for friends who can speak Chinese to help. There may be more Chinese tourists. This friend’s throat is dumb. The service is very good.

A great travel experience. Remember to book the hotel restaurant first, otherwise you won't be able to reserve a spot at the last minute. People who drive can park for free. Shopping and food nearby are very convenient!

I booked a duplex room with a large bed and a small bed on the second floor. When they first saw us, 2 adults and 1 child, they asked us to pay more. Then, if you tell me again, I won’t give you an extra bed. There is an additional charge, 108 for one night and 216 for two nights. Okay😑I have money, I won’t argue with you, just give it~ In the room, once the door opens, there is a bed. Walking in the aisle, the sound is clear. The balcony is next to the road and has been converted into a toilet, shower and face wash. There are no curtains from front to back, just old-fashioned hinged doors. At night, it's so simple, with square buildings and spotlights on the opposite side, Shoot me directly in the eye, the north balcony is busy with traffic, People who cannot sleep in the presence of light or light sleepers need to be careful. I couldn't sleep for two nights, I was desperate😩 I don’t comment much, so I must write down, injustice~

Old house, very a**ospheric. In the evening and early morning, the breeze blows from the rooftop upstairs, which is very comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor is very popular, and you usually need to make a reservation at least a day in advance. Coincidentally, there were three spots left that day. The dishes are very unique.

Very good stay experience! The hotel rooms are antique, rich in Nanyang style and ancient Chinese charm; the breakfast is rich, with a variety of choices, and afternoon tea is also available; the environment is elegant, and the photos are very photogenic! The Nyonya restaurant on the first floor requires a reservation a day in advance, but I finally tried it, and it was very delicious! The hotel waiters are very friendly, but they don't speak Chinese, so communication is a bit difficult. Fortunately, there is translation software. When checking in, because the front desk manager did not understand the policy, additional taxes and fees were charged. After communicating with Ctrip, it was immediately confirmed that there was no need to pay. I have to give Ctrip customer service a thumbs up for this, the service is fast and efficient!
