Premier Inn Gosport

The staff at this premier inn were really friendly and greeted us warmly every morning for breakfast! The place itself was very standard for a premier inn, the room was clean yet basic but had everything we needed for our stay. We chose this hotel as the location was near to family members that we were visiting, but it wasn’t really near anything else of note apart from some shops across the road and a pub next door so may not be a good choice if you were visiting for a holiday. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

We visited the restaurant at breakfast time. We weren't staying in the hotel, but as we live locally we were passing by. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Sophie was so sweet and helpful and Lee was really lovely and made sure we were happy with everything. Nigel on reception was very helpful too. The prices are very reasonable and the food and the choice fantastic. Definitely coming again!

Top hotel, good pub next door. Enjoyed a spot of dinner there. Room excellent, bed and provisions good, nice large TV. Charlene and Lee produced a great breakfast, poached egg was spot on !! Location excellent for folks who want to do there own thing.

Stayed the first week of the Easter holidays and it was fantastic, the staff had some Easter tombola going on raising money for the great Ormond street hospital, as well as giving free Easter eggs out to children on easter Sunday, it was amazing We were not expecting this level of customer service and interactions from a premier inn if I'm being honest A lot of places can learn from them We will be returning in the summer 👍🏻

We were visiting friends in Portsmouth and this was the best last minute accommodation we could find. First impressions were not great...the outside of the hotel is filthy (as in the building itself, seriously needs painting)and there were gangs of teenagers everywhere, which we realised were coming out of the ice rink. They weren't causing any trouble just very noisy. Staff were really nice and friendly. The lifts were playing up and we couldn't get upstairs but the lady on reception came and sorted it out . Our room was as expected with any premier Inn. Nice and clean, comfy bed. Hardly any plug sockets and Very old fashioned free view TV. Breakfast was very basic but nice and the girl who seated us was lovely. No orange juice at breakfast for 2 days. Sort of palmed off with orange squash but there was cranberry and apple juice. There isn't enough disabled parking so that was a bit of a struggle but the car park is shared with other businesses and was full at night so if you want to park get here early.

Good location right opposite a leisure centre as well as a small retail park. The staff were very polite and helpful answering all of our questions. We stayed with our two children which didn’t aid the sleeping part but the bed was very comfortable and my youngest slept like a log, it was their first stay in a hotel and they both loved the experience.

Given previous reviews I must say our stay was pleasant and comfortable. No issue with any noise even though the hotel was full. The room was very clean and comfortable (I’m a fussy person). The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and plenty for everyone. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would have liked was some decaff coffee sachets in the room as we had to go back down to reception to get some but that’s a minor issue.

I like prems, they are normally comfortable and pleasant. Gosport prem is n a handy location but it is looking really tired. Our room felt slightly damp (. Ground floor room 118) Also the bed and bedding just wasn’t as good as most prems we’ve stayed in ( particularly the pillows) the bathroom ceiling had a lot of flaking paint and we shared the room with a fairly well established spider. Staff weren’t very much in evidence so we didn’t bother complaining. I also didn’t realise that if you wanted your room cleaned, you had to request at reception…another great way to save money….wont be in a rush to return…

Came in as a walk in for breakfast with family, All staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Especially Lee, Lucy and Nigel. The breakfast was cooked to order and tasted amazing the best I’ve ever had. I would recommend to anyone. Will be back again soon
