Location: is good if you want to be out near the country and Yarra Valley.
Cleanliness: what one expects anywhere.
Service: reception is as expected and they did make the room between nights.
Facilities: It's not a holiday resort, so it doesn't really have anything: unless you like watching TV which has lots of free movies.
the website mentions a 24hr bar-restaurant which was closed during our stay:

This place is NOTHING like the webpage photos. Booked a Standard Family ‘Suite’ to overnight to attend a wedding and was sadly disappointed in the state of the rooms, which were being ‘cleaned’ (questionable description) at check in time of 2pm Run down establishment in need of a good scrub, paint and reno, old and worn out is an understatement. The rooms are dingy and dirty, bathrooms were so bad couldn’t/wouldnt use the shower due to muck around the taps and plug holes. Rusty bathroom fittings. Floors and walls are dirty and patched up. Room chain lock had no end on it so couldn’t secure the door. Bed linen was questionable. No doona or blanket, just a small folded throw rug which needed a good wash, smelly and had a squashed dried up bug on it, should have slept in the car. Avoid this place, for $300 for 1 night we should have just caught Ubers and gone home but there’s a catch. You have to pay an extra surprise refundable deposit on check in to get your room key then wait around for reception to open in the morning to get you money back. Forget it, avoid, look elsewhere.

The most filthy accommodation I have ever stayed in. Carpets dirty, cobwebs on walls, empty bar fridge not even bottled water. Website claims fully stocked bar fridge which is false. Bathroom mirror was dirty. The interior and furniture were out dated.Not even a kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee. I would never recommend this accomodation to anyone. For $195 dollars for the night it was pathetic!!!

Location was great for us. Room service was extremely poor. We had 3 days of wet, dirty towels behind the door, even though most days they would replace the towels. I had to get clean towels from reception if they were not replaced. The beds were never made. Some days the rubbish bins were not emptied. Some of the windows could not be opened. Some days it was too cool for the aircon to be on and would have been nice to have the windows opened. There was black mould at the bottom of the shower. We always did the dishes to save them time cleaning but never got the same service in return.

Stayed for a wedding, so just one night. It was ok but they need to work on their cleaning… ours was barely average and several others were bad. I take my own pillow everywhere and was glad, the one provided smelled

Hotel definitely does not look anything like advertised. Pretty run down and not maintained well. We were there for a wedding and decided to go up a little early to relax and couldn’t even use the spa in our room due to lack of hot water. When reporting it we were told to “wait a few hours”. Tried again in the morning with same issues. Also there is meant to be a restaurant but it was closed. No room service or mini bar and manuals refer to “dial 9 for reception” and there is no phone in the rooms. Also no one bothers to come and turn down the rooms during your stay. I reported the spa again on check out to which I was told someone would call and organise compensation - but a week later and it never happened. We were also told by another couple staying that they tried to check in at 4pm and their room was “trashed” and not even cleaned yet. Definitely won’t be coming back here again, very disappointing

The property itself is amazing it's a shame it's not been run to its full potential it could be suitable for so many businesses types and ideas the property is also home to an endangered species of possum the leader beater possum. I hope that the property finds its way and is a celebration and holiday hub once again!

Booked our night away 2 months in advance and was given a free upgrade. Arrived and checked in to discover our room had 2 single beds and no spa. Went back to reception to advise them of the error only to be told that our room was given away and we would be given another room with a King Bed. The hotel is very run down and disappointing. Lucky only stayed a night. Would not recommend.
