The resort was beautiful, the staff could have been a little nicer. The rooms were nice, but there was a mildew smell in the room. I wish the resort had more entertainment options. They offered nightly activities but it seemed as if I was hearing the same music every night.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Check in and out were easy. Lots of options for food/bars entertainment. Food was fine. Hibachi and gratzi were the best options. Service was slow at times. But everything else was great! Pool, water/beach.

Everything was good except stuff and service. We were waiting for waitresses about 20-30 min. And another thing is beach towel. they give everyone unlimited number of towels. We had to wait until new towels appeared.

My wife and I travelled here for the second portion of our honeymoon in St Lucia and were not disappointed whatsoever. We stayed in the Hideaway portion of the hotel (Adults only) and upgraded to Diamond club which gave us access to a 'butler' who was available to book us into the restaurants and help with any general queries (other examples include general questions about the resort and island, helping to arrange a taxi to the street party). Being in diamond club also allowed access to the diamond club area of the resort (which happens to be on the other end of the resort from the hideaway) where there is a pool, beach area and bar (serving daytime food which cannot be found elsewhere). In our opinion, it is certainly worth the upgrade for the level of service that you receive. Now onto the resort in general; all of the restaurants served great food and we had no complaints with any of it. There is a good variety of cuisines and the coffee shop is a great addition. The staff throughout the resort were friendly and very helpful. BUT.... if you want to experience more of what the island has to offer then I would recommend a couple of nights at a different hotel out of the resort also. It would be easy to stay in the resort without leaving as there is so much on offer but we experienced the REAL St Lucia when we stayed near Soufriere for 2 days prior to this. This isn't an issue with the resort in particular as there are excursions on offer but something to bear in mind.

Diamond club not worth it. In room dining for breakfast wrong every day, butler no where to be found, food only ok, service pretty awful. For over a thousand a day stay somewhere else. Also not all inclusive.

Just returned from an amazing stay at the Hideaway at Royalton St Lucia. I am a member of another all inclusive resort chain, which doesn’t have any properties on St Lucia, so I decided to give Royalton a try. It was my husband’s 50th birthday gift and I wanted it to be memorable. Well, Royalton exceeded all of my expectations, starting with the warm welcome and easy check in. I upgraded to diamond club, which came with two butlers, Gessler and Fabian, both were amazing! They were professional, attentive and extremely helpful assisting with the many activities I had planned for my husband’s birthday. I also would like to acknowledge Keisha D. from Guest Services, who was in constant contact with me for weeks prior to our arrival, making sure that all of my wishes were fulfilled. We had breathtaking view from room 1404. The sound of the waves crashing outside of our balcony was very soothing. The property offered multiple pools with and without activities, which was nice. The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The staff was always smiling and friendly when walking throughout the resort. I was always hesitant to stay at a resort that allowed children, but I must say, Royalton does it well. There are areas throughout the resort for children to enjoy and when they were around adults, they were accompanied by their parents. The Hideaway side, is truly a hideaway. It’s on the quiet side of the property with beach access, beach bar and restaurant, very romantic!

The resort and rooms are beautiful. My issue was that the pools closed at 6p and there’s a very strict dress code for dinner, you basically have to be completely covered, and dress formally for dinner. The room service food is mid to poor. By midnight the resort is completely quiet, basically forcing guests in their rooms. I loved the room and beach though.

I would not recommend this property: The first thing that bothered me was that the property didn’t offer complementary transportation to, and from the airport. You will have to find your way from the airport to the resort, which is almost a 2 Hour Drive , and it will cost you anywhere between $90-$120 both ways. Second issue was the food quality and service. It was extremely hard for me to find anything that was remotely good to eat. The service people were extremely rude. The room service operator snapped at me after I was asking for clarification about my order. Room service took over an hour to deliver. another server seemed to get upset with me when I would ask for additional mimosas during brunch. The cleanliness of the room was terrible. When I entered the room, the mirror was covered in black spots that couldn’t be cleaned off. It appeared to be molded. They assured me that it wasn’t mold, but it was built up moisture that the mirror had collected overtime. Maintenance said that they would request for the mirror to be replaced, however nobody came in to replace the mirror. Secondly, our sheets weren’t clean. There was sand in them. I also was told by another family member that they experienced the same thing in their bed. Lastly, the furniture in the room was extremely old and outdated. The location of the property is beautiful however, it was overshadowed by the poor food quality, lack of service and cleanliness.

Some staff were nice, majority rude. Cockroach in my room along with ants all over the place. No top shelf alcohol. The “martini mix” bar, yes, that’s the name, doesn’t have the ingredients to make a martini. Always out of towels by the pool. Ordered room service three times during our stay and only got it once, even after they called us and said someone was outside. Wouldn’t recommend this property.

What spoilt my stay was there were loads of different bars but they seem to always be out of stock I couldn’t get a decent Brandy for instance a Remi Martin Hennessy or even a cheaper Courvoisier. Especially when paying a lot of money for the stay. I stayed at Sandals previously and they do it as part of the all inclusive package

I have been to the Hideaway at Royalton in Mexico and had a wonderful experience at that location. The hospitality and customer service there was flawless; so I decided to do my honeymoon at the Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia. I would have to say my experience with the staff at the front desk at the Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia, was not as pleasant and welcoming. They don’t give you the rundown of the location in terms or what amities the site have to offer, the times things close! No map or indication on where the restaurants are. We did not realize we had a hideaway restaurant on our side of the resort until another guess told us and they only knew about it by walking around the resort! They literally give you your room bracelet, your room number, and the government fees per day and send you on! This was my honeymoon, we had a $500.00 credit with the Royalton because we were getting married there but covid ruined it! We was told by corporate we can use it towards the honeymoon package. We provided the emails, the letter from the royalton corporate office and everything we had pertaining to the credit and got completely railroaded and treated rude by the front desk supervisor named Omega. She said the credit had nothing to do with St Lucia and wouldn't even acknowledge the credit but only wanted to give us a 150.00 complementary dinner which were not to terms of the agreement from the Royalton. I spent several days emailing corporate to help. Fix the frontline.

Hotel rooms, pools and gardens are lovely, unfortunately the service, restaurants and particularly bar service were very inconsistent. I think staff training could improve the resort hugely briging everyone to the same high standard as the approx 25% who were really good
