Smile Hotel Hachinohe

The hotel was renovated last year, so it's clean and tidy. The room was a bit small, but for just staying the night, I had no complaints. The breakfast buffet was delicious! Especially the curry! It would be a perfect 100 points if there was a complimentary coffee stand somewhere, even in a corner of the amenity area!

As a backpacker, it took me about 15 minutes to walk from Hon-Hachinohe Station (I can't recall if it was uphill to the hotel or to the station). There's a 7-Eleven on the way where you can grab some snacks and drinks. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the gentlemen at the front desk spoke good English and were very welcoming. You have to pick up your amenities yourself before heading up to your room. The single room was quite small, but the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and cozy. For the price, it was perfectly fine for one night. On my way out the next day, I noticed the area around the hotel was quite lovely, and it seemed to be very close to an art museum. There's also a highway bus stop nearby, which is convenient for traveling to other cities.

The room was a bit small, with barely enough space for two suitcases. The staff were very helpful. There's a bus stop not far from the hotel that goes directly to the Guanbi Anbi morning market.

It's a standard business hotel that's worth the price. It's fine if you don't mind the building being old, the rooms being small, and there being few consumable items provided.

Even when I came back after drinking, the receptionist didn't show any signs of annoyance and provided very good service.

The cost performance is excellent.

The room for two people is a little small, but it's okay for one night's sleep. You have to pay for the parking lot and there are no discounts.

The salted squid for breakfast was really delicious👍
