Hotel Kajikaso Hakone

Very traditional Japanese hotel. I didn't get a private bath room, but I had the opportunity to experience Japan's public hot springs. It was very traditional and warm. One night and two meals, the taste was OK, but the kids didn't like it very much, so they filled their stomachs with white rice.

The location and scenery are really good. It takes six or seven minutes to walk out of Hakone Yumoto Station, and there is a mountaineering bus stop at the intersection of the hotel. The hotel is next to the river and has a very lovely view of the river. There is a foot bath pool outside the hotel. It is very relaxing to soak your feet and look at the river view. I booked a private soup room, the room is super large, and there is a 180-degree river view in the room to watch, and there is a small garden. The service is normal hot spring hotel service, polite but alienated, and some procedures are even defective. For example, there is no explanation when you check in, and the dining time and bathing facilities are introduced to a piece of paper and it's over. I am not used to the personal service of hot spring hotels. There is a young lady at the front desk who can speak Chinese, but other people's English is really a headache. Although the facilities are clean, they are indeed old. The large bath and the corners of the room are moldy, and the tiles are also damaged. The worst thing is that the dinner is really not good. It is a surprise that the hot spring hotel can be so bad. I also chased after the chef's signature, which is also hard to describe. I don't know if it's a problem with the menu design or the chef's style. The whole taste is sour. Breakfast the next day was a big win. In short, it is convenient and the scenery can be lived, if you want to eat well, forget it.

The bathroom was also large and nice. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless. It looks elaborate but tastes pretty terrible😔. It was a shame.

Choose to stay in a room with a private bath. The outdoor bath is full of space. The room is spacious. The only food quality is average. Most of the hotel's facilities require payment.
