Overall hotel is fantastic the staff were so polite and room was so clean, breakfast was not bad. And moreover airport was so near by and had an amazing stay. If you are looking for an airport hotel it would be the good one If i come again in hamburg i m gonn stay again.

That was terrible experience stay at this hotel. The staff unfriendly at all. Hotel entrance door closes at 11pm. Inside the room broken shower, TV not working, properly dirty. In 5 days no one clean my room and not changed towels. Not recommended that hotel.

The hotel is very basic. No restaurant, nor any place for dinner close by. Luckily there is a Lidl store about 500 meters away in the Alterkrugchaussee. The hotel is located exactly under the one of the landing directions to the airport, thus it gets very noisy even if the windows are closed. No shuttle to the airport - one needs to order a taxi to get there.

On a positive note, whith exception for the massive cobweb in our bathroom and the mouldy old buscuit left for us under the bed, the room and hotel was actually reasonably clean. May I suggest bring ear plugs. Granted this is an airport close hotel so expect planes landing literally every 2‐3 minutes, if you are OK with that, fantastic but for me the guy cutting the grass outside your windows at 7am was too much. Rooms are tiny and you would be hard pressed to swing one of the borrowers in them. We were there in good weather and found the whole place musty and stuffy even with windows opened. (I know hotels can be stuffy but this place was next level.) Curtins don't fit the windows and stop very little light so good luck getting a good night sleep. That being said, I will say the beds were comfortable enough. I would recommend bringing you own towels and soap as the receptionist we asked for towels from 4-5 times seemed more concerned with insulting my wife and passing the blame than doing her job. Breakfast, again, the room was clean and food very basic. If you like bread and salami you have hit the jackpot here. Hamburg centre is about 30mins away. Take the 23 bus to Alterdorf, U1 train to KellinghussenstaBe, change to the U3 train which circles the centre. To sum up, we had 4 nights here, staff welcoming on arrival but either unhelpful or inept after that. Tiny stuffy rooms, not as convenient a location as it would seem. It's OK if you're stuck for the night or have an early morning flight. Personally, I would really have to be pushed to stay here again.

Very cheap, basic accommodation, nothing fancy. Clean, quiet, will do for an overnight.

I was able to get a room late at night. The staff at the desk was friendly. My room was ok, but the bathroom smelled awful.

Positive: - Good location (about 8 min with taxi to the airport or 35 min walk) - Free wifi Neutral: - Breakfast was okay. Not good, not terrible. Few warm options, mostly bread, cereal etc. Negative: - Room condition was quite bad. A carpet that covered the entire room (didn’t seem to have been changed for a looong time with stains on it). Half of the electricity ports didn’t work. I was placed in the basement so didn’t have windows except a tiny one which wasn’t see-through. Bathroom was okay though. - Long check-in time, about 30-40 min (there was no queue). Summary: You will survive if you stay there for 1 night or short layover. But there are probably better options.

Positive: - Working wifi, at least sufficient for streaming movies/videos - Close to the airport (8 minute drive och 30 minute walk) - Negative: - Got a room in the basement, with only a tiny blurred-tinted roof/wall window that you couldn’t see through. - Room quality was quite poor. Old carpet in the entire room with a lot of stains on it, probably not changed the last decade. - Long check-in time (around 30 minutes due to problem with their booking system). - Electricity outlets only worked on one side of the bed (rest were broken). Neutral: - Ok breakfast. Don’t expect a full buffet. But if you’re pleased with some bread and ham/cheese, coffee, juice and some basic fruits you should be okay. Not a lot of warm options. - Sound isolation was decent. If people were talking in the hallway you could hear them clearly but it was mostly quiet. Summary: If you’re only staying 1 night and want to prioritize the close location to the airport this is a decent option if you get a good price. If there are other options offering a better or similar price I would consider alternatives. Not good, not horrible.

Old and uncomfortable furniture. It's high time to make repairs to the premises.

Goodfor one night stay TV not working Bed ok small rooms but clean Breakfast ok

I left immediately. The carpet is completely dirty. There is water in the bathroom and the tiles are almost falling off the wall. I was offered another room, which wasn't much better. When I expressed my displeasure, I was told that I should book a 5-star hotel next time. I think you can expect a clean room for 3 stars, and €120 isn't exactly cheap! I will never book this hotel again. I thought that this standard didn't exist in Germany anymore.

It was quite a distance from the airport terminal, and it took about 20 minutes to walk there while rolling a small suitcase. There was a supermarket nearby so it was easy to buy groceries, but there was no refrigerator in the room. As is often the case when booking through a hotel site, two men ended up spending the night in a double bed (lol). The breakfast was very delicious. The shower had good pressure.
