They are very smart in conning the customers by levying extra charges unreasonably. They commit something on the phone and give a rude surprise after the check in. Had a very bad experience. Neither their tariffs are reasonable for the rooms they provide. Their sales team do not have the experience of hospitality industry nor treat the guests with courtesy, they perhaps belong to a toll plaza security. It is the same attitude they reflect in their conversation with guests.

Very nice hotel, within a few minutes driving from the historical places of Hampi. The restaurant is quite good. In the early evening there is a free cultural program and there are all kind of activities. I went out for a bird watching and sunset tour with Chandrashekar, the naturalist of the hotel. Very well organised (Jeep, binocular, drinking water in the car and coffee stop. We saw a lot of different birds (driving on paths in the fields) and also alligator. The sunset viewpoint was marvellous. RECOMMENDED.

Recently stayed with my family(27-29 May) at Heritage Hampi,I must say it was truly an amazing experience. Right from the Reception to FnB, Housekeeping all employees showcased the best hospitality. Took great care of my family- "No words to describe" Thank you to the Management- Mr Prasanna and the entire team for the taking utmost efforts in making our stay memorable. Property landscaping is just perfect. ***Value for money proposition is 100℅***

We had an amazing stay at the resort. We are very very satisfied in all aspects. (Coffee could have been strong though ;-))We had been to Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary and our guide Mr. Chandrashekhar made sure we saw some bears - 2 bear cubs with their mama bear AND another adult bear! He is very knowledgeable and explains things in a very detailed manner. He is a wonderful guide and shall assist you throughout the safari. Totally recommend for nature lovers and commoners alike !

It's a great place...loved the ambience, very well maintained property ...the staff are very courteous and quick to respond to the needs of the guest... They provide a detailed information/plan regarding the places to visit during our stay..I would definitely recommend this place.... Most exciting part was the visit to Daroji Bear safari...Mr. Chandrashekhar, a trained naturist was arranged to accompany us for the Safari...He was very friendly and gave us quite an insight about the birds and animals that can be seen in the forest .....it was very informative and we were allowed to spend sufficient time looking at the various birds...thanks to him we spotted bears ***** with the cubs during this time.. Overall a great experience!!!!!

Our family of 4 spent 2 nights at heritage resort and we loved the experience. Excellent hotel and facilities in lush greenery, super buffet breakfast and in room dining, helpful staff and excellent guides and trip to the bear and bird safari and the tourist attractions including the ruins. Would definitely recommend highly to everyone

This hotel/resort was a perfect stay, from the comfortable quiet rooms to the restaurant serving tasty dishes, it was a great place to start my solo trip across Karnataka. The pool is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. If you are at all interested in local wildlife, the onsite naturalists are eager to share with you their knowledge of all the local creatures. Friendly and helpful from start to finish, truly one of the best places to stay in the area - Hampi being a mere 15 minute drive away.

This was a delightful, peaceful and elegant beginning to our India Tour, from the gentle traditional Hindu welcome ceremony, helpful staff, quiet live music, through the morning puja with the cow to breakfast on a banana leaf. Our room and all its furnishings were comfortable and cool and we made good use of the large swimming pool - a good place to enjoy the tasteful modern architecture of the hotel and its surroundings, with an interior evocative of traditional forms. There was a large array of food to choose from - almost too much on our first night and breakfast. And there was a delightful dance entertainment before dinner. Wholly recommended.

Comfortable resort with very helpful staff. Good food, well kept facilities including a large pool. We did some birding with the knowledgeable guide which was a great experience, except for the fact that it was not an open jeep. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is that the Air Conditioning in our room was not working the first day which made for a hot and uncomfortable night. We got shifted to another room with a working AC and after that the stay was good. Would come back here if I visit Hampi again

The accommodations are comfortable and traditionally themed. Culinarily speaking, the food is excellent, excepting the doughnuts. The shakes are a must-try, and the buffet dinners will not fail to please. The best part of the experience, however, lies in the wildlife adventure activities, and the guided trips they provide are great as their naturalist is very knowledgeable. They also provide informative but slightly expensive tour guides upon request. The service is good, though there may be a language issue with tourists who aren't familiar with the local language. The environment is peaceful, and if you're a birdwatcher, you're in for a treat. The pool is clean and just the right temperature, and they've even got trampolines and tyre swings, in addition to an organic garden, games-room and bookshelf. I'd say this is probably one of the best resorts you could get around here, as it's also not very far from Hampi itself.

Great set up, location. Resort/Rustic/Relaxing/Refreshing. Luv the pool and the green all over.... Breakfast and dinner buffet was plentiful. Lunch needed some attention! Transfers, transport and guides are easily accessible. And Hampi is amazing!!!!

Having recently stayed at the Heritage resort here are my observations. Received an early check in which was much appreciated after an overnight train journey. Room was fine and we made good use of the pool area during our 3 night stay as the weather was very hot. The hotel is in a good location within easy reach of Hampi by auto/car. No where really to walk to. The staff were all friendly and eager to please. The reason we don't give 5 stars is because of the restaurant. The buffet food was OK, but nothing more. The service was hit and miss . The staff are pleasant enough but maybe a little forgetful at times. A little more training is required. For the price paid ( over 11000.00 rps a night) I expect better. This is obviously our own opinion and the issue didn't really affect our enjoyment of Hampi.

We selected this resort purely on " word of mouth". Our friends had stayed here recently, in Jan 2024. We decided to do the same. The facility offers what the guests need at the end of a tiring day: poolside service, 0.5 hr of cultural entertainment of decent quality, a reasonable dining service, peace and calm,lush surroundings and worthy rooms. The daily breakfast spread offered many veg and western nonveg breakfast items. Our room was on the upper level, and came with a gallery nook.. The upper level has plus n minuses.Upper level rooms get warm. Bijlee gets cut off the moment you lock your room. Thus when you return the room is warm. By turning on fans and AC it's possible to comfy the room. The treetop view is a plus. Ground level rooms are darker, and more prone to attract bugs. The room came with a mini fridge with a few giney chuney items. I think the resort offers overnight facilities for your car chauffer. Guests that we encountered were equally Indians and phoren. We had no major negative concerns or issues.

There are some lovely things about this resort and some disappointments. Our check in process was quick and the team there was mostly friendly (though seemed a bit harried). The rooms are a good size with all the basic furniture, A/C, comfortable bed. The amenities were adequate and of average quality. The bathroom had an aggressive number of mothballs in the sink and the shower and so the bathroom smelled terrible. The pool is very nice though could benefit from more seating as it fills up in the afternoon. The grounds have lots of plants and is relaxing. The restaurant has a great variety of food though they did have a hard time understanding and accommodating a food allergy. Communiation wasn't always smooth. We were told this was the nicest place in the Hampi area and a great improvement from what was there before. However, they could do better.

Hi, I would like to review our stay from 13 Feb to 18 Feb 2024 at Herigate Resort, Hampi. We reached at round 2.30 pm and check in process was very smooth and quick. We were quickly directed to our rooms. The rooms were quite spacious, very clean and well arranged. The overall ambience of the resort was awesome. We liked the organic garden of the resort. I and my wife both are very interested about watching and photographing birds and to our surprise, there were many birds in the resort. Every morning after getting up, we listened to the pair of purple sunbirds singing in the trees surrounding our room. Food was served as buffet which was excellent. Every evening there was a cultural programme highlighting the local culture which was great. We met resort's naturalist Mr. Chandrasekhar who was very helpful in organizing a safari to nearby Daroji Bear Sanctuary. We had a great safari and sighted many creatures like bear, python, hare, eagle, francolin etc. Mr. Chandrasekhar is quite knowledgeable about birds and animals. To sum it up, we heartily enjoyed our stay at the resort and we would definitely like to visit again and recommend the resort to our friends and relatives Thanks!!!
