North Houston
I have travelled a lot. Mo is by far the best front staff I have ever encountered. Friendly always. Always asking if there is anything we need. Had a baby with me and she would always come up to us and ask how we were doing. Marriott— do whatever it takes to keep her. The staff and hotel make it feel like you are home even though you are not. We will 100% stay there again.

Connected by tram to the airport, coming up the escalator after a day of stress and travel delays, the lobby pleasantly welcomes, and the smiles from desk agents wrap you like a toasty blanket. Check in took about one minute and we were on our way to the most comfortable room. The hotel has a fun, futuristic layout. Club M was 10 stars on a 5-star scale for food, snacks, coffee - you name it. Restaurant serves great food - try the pizza - and enjoy upbeat service. Our stay was unexpected and we were pretty sour to have an entire day delay before our connecting flight, but WOW - I’m so thankful we stayed here because it was hard to be in a bad mood for too long in this very nice hotel. If you travel frequently, check out the flight store - geared for flight crews, they sell very durable luggage, cool lanyards and all types of accessories.

Hotel location is very good, in the subway DRYDEN station, 8 minutes from the DRYDEN Metropolitan Museum area three stations, there is a ticket vending machine on the subway platform for 1.25 dollars within three hours. The subway is parallel to the motorway on the road in front of the hotel. It is convenient to use the underground passage. There is a bathtub in the big bed room. The softness and hardness of the bed are suitable. It is suitable for a family of three. I feel comfortable living in the museum area ZAZA!

Westchase
We stayed one night at the Marriott Houston Westchase in a 1 Bedroom Suite, 1 King, Sofa bed, City view. My husband had surgery that day and we spent the day and night camped out in the room. He slept for most of it. I spent it watching tv. For the most part our stay was good but not what I expected from Marriott. Everything was clean and neat. However, I think there are some things that could use attention. (I worked hospitality many years ago, so I apologize if this seems long and nit-picky.) Let's start with the parking. Valet signs everywhere. We waited. no one came out. My husband took his bandaged face into the lobby only to find out there is none. Half the parking lot up front was closed to public parking. He was told to park where the front desk could see it so it would not get tampered with. As I made my way around to park there were some shady characters sitting in a car at the back of the lot near a service entrance. I parked as close as I could to the front. We arrived mid-afternoon (2pm) and did not realize that there was no food service of any kind until dinner. (From 1-4pm!) Not even a snack machine available. There was no menu in the room for room service. Nor was there any number on the phone to dial for room service. So, I went for a food pick up and on my way back, asked the desk for a menu. They pointed out the QR scan code to order. Sorry - but some of us older folks are cell phone challenged. Just give us the room service number on the phone in the room and a menu in there! (Like it used to be.) Plenty of good restaurants near by. Shady characters still in the parking lot. No sign of security patrol. The little corridor off the main one to our room was very dark. A brighter bulb would be better. (Had I been there alone, it would have creeped me out.) The TV in the living space was at an awkward angle from the couch. It made it uncomfortable unless you were sitting sideways. There was only one water bottle in the room and one robe - for 2 people. We called down and quickly received one more of each. The ice bucket top was warped so the ice melted rather quickly. The coffee bar only had 2 sugar packets, plenty of fake sugars and three cream in it. Not really enough for 2 cups of coffee. (Those coffee packets made really weak coffee.) Was also surprised that a Marriott was using plastic glasses instead of real ones. The bed was lumpy. It needs a mattress replacement. Bedding was not anything special. Was also not a fan of the feather pillows - they are flat. Would have preferred 2 regular pillows and 2 feathered. I spent most of the night in the bedroom chair and it was not comfortable. Later that night, I got really hungry and ordered room service. I felt awkward that there was nothing to sign - so I could tip this really nice Asian lady who brought it up. (There was no where on the final bill that I could put a tip for her either. And I didn't have a dime of cash! She must have thought I was a cheapskat

Enegy Corridor
This must be the WORST Marriott hotel I've stayed this year. First, I message the hotel few days before arrival, I want a room away from elevator, meaning from noise. Upon check in. I asked again for a room AWAY from the freeway INSTEAD I got room 601 which backs up to the freeway. HELLO! Are you guys listening? Obviously they don't care! I insisted on room away from the freeway and they give me 819 which is slightly better but FREEWAY NOISE is still LOUD. I will not recommend staying at this hotel and WILL NEVER stay here again. The windows and walls in this hotel is so thin that literally you can hear the freeway noise as if you're standing outside. I give 1 star because the guy who checked me in was kind enough to give me credit voucher at the restaurant and find me another room. They also give me a White noise.

This is perhaps the worst hotel I've ever stayed it. I had High hopes and expectations given the franchise name but I've stayed in less expensive hotels with better infrastructure. I'm not one to review service or give bad reviews but this one I must do. Where do I even begin? 1. There no free parking for guest, if you'll be staying over night there a fee. You're allowed to park for 10 mins free of charge or risk being towed away. 2. The ceiling in the bathrooms are so low, if you're anywhere close to 6'4” and above you may have a problem. 3. My toilet seat was broken on onside, making the seat and cover crooked, not fitting well on the toilet. 4. The tap head in the shower was barely attached to the wall. 5. There no microwave in your bedroom (u have to keep going to the front desk to heat your food up) and the coffee maker is provided with no actual container where the liquid goes in 6. Wifi is charged to your room bill and then removed once you checking out if you selected the cheaper option . The only upside to my stay there was the proximity to spots in the uptown Houston area, you also receive a 20% for Willie G restaurants that's near by and has great food
