Very nice hotel , staff were very helpful , room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, food was good Would stay again

We stayed here for a wedding. The room itself was prefect. (Family room) Large bathroom and very spacious bedroom area. We had a mini fridge with water and milk in, tea coffee facilities etc. iron, hairdryer. Unfortunately we didn’t think the beds or pillows were very comfy. Very large bed but it was 2 beds put together and me and my partner could feel the gap between the beds! Not what we expected. The venue is absolutely stunning! We had the best time. All staff were friendly polite and welcoming. The food was excellent. We had pork/chicken/beef over 2 courses then a cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely delicious!

What an amazing hotel, the rooms are large with baths, the hotel bar has lots of options, the foot at the tykes was out of this world amazing and we had some lovely walks around the ground too.

Never stayed here before but outstanding experience from check-in to check-out . Spotless, efficient and extremely well laid out. Food, service, premises - ALL top quality

We love this hotel, the location and the rooms are stunning!! From the minute you walk into the amazing reception area it’s just a pleasure to be there. My fiancé is funny about the comfort of beds and she loves the beds and pillows here!! The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had and we travel a lot. The quality of the food is outstanding and the variety of the cold and hot food is excellent!! The walks around the grounds and surrounding area are something everybody should look out for enjoy a nice walk whilst staying. We look forward to returning again!

Firstly I'd like to say Leonora on reception was fantastic. She was so friendly and informative and put at ease straight away when we checked in and the same excellent service when we checked out and made the process very smooth. We stayed in the premier rooms and everything was perfect! The bed was so comfy, a varied selection of teas and coffees and hot chocolate. The shower was amazing and the bath was huge (you could fit two people if you're not selfish like me). It was so quiet and the curtains block out the light really well which helped us sleep soundly. Our room was very clean not a speck of dust in sight. Breakfast was also delicious again with lots of choice for fussy eaters or kids. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for such an amazing stay

A truly amazing hotel and made even more special with the snow, Christmas trees and decorations. Our room was very nice with such a comfortable bed and loved the design of the bathroom.

Wonderful stay On the outskirts of York - brilliant to escape the visit, 10min drive to park & ride into the city. Cocktails delicious! Fantastic hotel breakfast. Can not fault.

Hotel was amazing. Great location. Rooms were fabulous, clean, tidy and spacious. Service was fantastic. Very friendly staff. Had an event at the hotel and everything ran smoothly. Again staff were brilliant and so attentive. Would highly recommend the hotel

Really good hotel .Bedroom was very quiet , comfortable and modern with everything you need including fresh milk in the fridge. Evening meal and breakfast in Tykes restaurant was very good , but could do with a covered walkway to get there from the main hotel. A pool and spa is all this place is missing, but still a great place to stay at.
