Ocean Inn

We visited for a cruise from Miami, arrived late morning, the Staff was great and let us check in early. They held our luggage while we made the 3 min walk to the Hollywood Beach/ Boardwalk. Food, drinks, and beach all within a 10 min walk, the location is fantastic and the inn was a cozy room with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed here twice within 10 days and we loved the beach lifestyle each time. We will stay again for the next cruise or just to visit Hollywood Beach. Fantastic price, great location and tons to see.

The Ocean Inn is a perfect spot! We arrived on n a late flight, our room information was available once we were on the property. The room was super cute, had everything you need. A block away from the boardwalk. I would definitely stay here again!

Room wasn’t the cleanest. Check in isn’t until 4, but office closes at 4. Once I finally connected with a live person for code to room, it went better. Guess you get what you pay for

The room was very neglected. The one staff member we saw was very nice, but appeared to be the only one doing all of the work. I never saw anyone in the office and no one answered my phone calls regarding questions. The front entry door had 1/2 inch gap around the frame. The toilet seat blocked the bathroom door from being closed. The bathroom sink was falling off the wall. Rusty fixtures.

We wanted to wake up near the beach and this place did the trick. The property definitely hasn’t been in its prime for a lot of decades! The courtyard was ok, needed TLC. The bathroom in particular needed maintenance but fit the bill for one nights stay. Some college kids were partying in the room next to us all night long. The loud AC unit drown them out. Convenient area, parking, and location to airport and beach. Not a luxury stay but a standard stay.

I arrived at the hotel at 6:15 pm. It had a cute outside setup, and the rooms were accessible from the outside. Very small amount of rooms. The office was locked! Apparently the office hours are 10am-4pm, but check in is 4pm!!! There were 2 phone numbers on the door. I called the first 3 times but no one answered. I called the next number which was a different property. She contacted someone to come help me. He came and tapped in a code on the door to open it, but it wouldn't open! He worked on it for 10 minutes and finally got it open. I hadn't eaten all day, but I was afraid to leave in case I couldn't get back into the room. The room was extremely old, but had potential. Unfortunately the floors needed mopping. My feet were so dirty after walking on the floors. The bed had a deep dip in the middle, toilet seat loose, blinds broken, tub rusty, and the list goes on. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

Is great because next to beach and boardwalk and comfy bed. Room not so good because no water pressure to shower, half outlets did not work, is small but kept nicely. Nobody around for check in, and nobody amswered phone but a guy there did get us in. Got text 2 hours later with instructions.

Dirty nasty place. Floors moldy and cracked. Rug with holes. Bathroom smells floor black air condition didn’t work. Place look like a crack house. Bird crap out all over everything outside

I quite literally was panic stricken when I saw this please. My full name and room code was taped to the door of the office. Anyone could have seen it. The room was digusting, filthy, smelled like mold. There was mold on the bed. It was gross and I was afraid.
