Harbour Grand Hong Kong

My recent stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong, located in North Point, Fortress Hill, was excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from the MTR station, offering convenient access to Causeway Bay and Central, yet the immediate area is surprisingly quiet despite being close to everything. The hotel's biggest draw is the stunning Victoria Harbour view, especially from the higher floor rooms, which offer expansive vistas that are captivating both day and night. The room size is generous for a five-star hotel in Hong Kong, and it was meticulously clean with comfortable bedding. Some room types even come with a bathtub. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool and a gym, providing ample leisure options. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the dining services were diverse. The front desk staff were courteous and attentive, and luggage storage was available. The only minor drawback was that some facilities showed a bit of age. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, suitable for both leisure and business travelers, and an ideal choice for those who want to enjoy the Victoria Harbour scenery.

The hotel's location is good, close to the MTR station, and it's relatively easy to hail a taxi outside. The hotel exterior and the lobby on the first floor are beautiful. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, listening to my requests for a higher floor and sea view, and helped me adjust to a higher floor. Due to the hotel's location, you can't see the core Victoria Harbour view, but the regular sea view is still nice. I didn't bring a charger adapter, but thankfully the room was equipped with a three-prong slow charger for mainland Chinese phones. The downsides are that the indoor hardware facilities are relatively poor: the room key card slot wasn't very sensitive and needed multiple attempts to work; the showerhead leaked; the bathroom light flickered for several seconds when first turned on; the sink faucet was quite noisy when turned on; and the air conditioning vent made a loud noise. Overall, the experience was still good, I'd give it 80 points. I hope they can continue to improve.

The hotel room is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, a bit old, but most hotels in Hong Kong are getting on in years, and this one is still decent. It has a Victoria Harbour view, good service, and a convenient location with easy access to the MTR and dining. There's also a Hong Kong Jockey Club betting station nearby.

Staying on the club floor was an excellent choice. The lounge offered fantastic views, and the breakfast was delicious. What I enjoyed most were the diverse alcoholic beverages and snacks in the evening, and the night view was truly spectacular.

This is already my third stay at the hotel. This time, I stayed with my family in two rooms for three nights. The rooms were comfortable and bright. Although the facilities were complete, they were a bit old, but overall still very good. The hotel's staff, including the greeters and cleaning staff, were not only polite but also very friendly. Furthermore, the hotel's location is very close to Fortress Hill MTR station, making transportation incredibly convenient.

Overall, it was good. The rooms are quite spacious and all have sea views! The 41st-floor lounge service was also nice! It's rare to find such large rooms in Hong Kong! The value for money is also good! However, why are the concierge and front desk staff starting to ask for good review questionnaires? After holding back for a long time, I have to ask: this is the first time I've stayed at a five-star hotel for my birthday and not received even a cake or a fruit platter! When asked for a good review, I can't help but ask, after feedback, I was told they usually send a bottle of wine... guess I'm just unlucky.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. The sea view is stunning and truly impressive. The staff were friendly and helpful, making both check-in and check-out smooth. The overall environment was comfortable and quiet, offering great value for money. I will definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Hong Kong and will recommend it to my friends.

This is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in; I have no idea how it even earned its five-star rating. First off, check-in took almost half an hour. I've never seen such slow and inefficient service. Once I got to the room, the outdated facilities were immediately noticeable. And unbelievably, the cleaning staff missed a pair of shoes left by the previous guest under the curtains. When I called staff to deal with it, they simply said the cleaning crew hadn't seen them. Then, when I tried to use the hairdryer, the nozzle was broken – I've truly seen it all! What's more, the room didn't even have bottled water or toiletries. They claimed it was to reduce plastic, but then everything had to be purchased, and those items were still made of plastic. Isn't that just burying your head in the sand? Why can't they, like other hotels, use wooden or glass bottles for water? It's pure laziness! This place is absolutely not worth the money. The standards are terrible! Avoid at all costs!

Our family trip to Hong Kong and Macau unfortunately coincided with a typhoon, which brought all transportation to a halt and caused a lot of inconvenience. I had chosen this hotel somewhat randomly, but we were lucky enough to be checked in by Maria at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful and truly added significant value to our stay. Not only did she upgrade us to a room with an unbeatable sea view, but she was also incredibly patient. Even though my child's English wasn't great, she patiently encouraged them to try and communicate in English, which gave my introverted child a huge confidence boost. When we couldn't check out on time due to the typhoon, she proactively offered us a late checkout and even informed us about special dining benefits.
